My personal bias is well documented in these forums. for those of you who don't know, I'm a Conservative religious nut job. I believe God created all things billions of years ago and gave it a push. from there everything evolved after it's own kind. My question is for those who come from an opposing view point.
How did life spontaneously start form non living mater?
How did life spontaneously start form non living mater?
So men didn't write the bible? Did Jesus sit down and write the New Testament himself? If so, he could have done better. Really the entire plot was just kinda boring to me. They even kill off the main character in the first book!
Please elaborate on How the Bible could be improve with specific examples ....
As to the "Plot" ... the Bible is written as one book but 66, and the main character was not Killed off in the first book...unless you are counting able as a main character???
I can really only imagine how hard it would be for someone with any amount of pride to admit they have been worshipping an imaginary being for the majority of their life. That's how I try to rationalize their denial, I guess.
The Captain Kirk theory...
Absolutely plausible in my opinion, a starship captain would fit the "supreme" being definition of ancient times.
But, couldn't of God created the "aliens" that put life on earth? I contend that he did so God is still the creator of life.
PK don't be dense.
Yes I did but how would the ancients who penned the books and stories of the bible classified an alien in a space ship? More than likely it would be God.
