'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

Stoerner dropped back and put the ball on the ground without being touched. UT did nothing to cause him to do that. Yes they capitalized on the luck, but UT did nothing to cause him to make a mistake he had never made in his whole life.

What caused his stumble and fumble? Since for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction (just ask the astronauts)--something CAUSED his stumble--and something caused his fumble.

funny reasoning--just when did luck originate...did luck create itself--or did it just evolve over millions of years out of the primordial goo?

If there is no absolute, factual basis for all things--then is your life just luck and you were born by chance?

You say that luck--or chance--is a fact. Okay--just what is luck, or chance? Does it have an identity? Who assigned its definition and identity? How has chance affected anything as an absolute and factual force in the universe?

If chance is a physical force of fact--then it's force, in fact, is equal to its mass multiplied by it's acceleration (F=ma) according to thermodynamic law!

Since it must have a mass to be a factual, physical force in the universe among physical beings--then it's energy is related to the nobel prize winning reality of atomic energy: E=m*c2 (squared). Therefore, it must exist in some relationship to the physical energy of light (since one reality of light is a measurable mass of energy--i.e., photons).

Having a mass means it's a physical reality--how do we observe this physical phenomenon? You claim that it's a factual force that is real (you said it exists whether we believe it or not)--how can its effects be measured and quantified? Is it a sub-atomic particle that can be identified? Did it originate with the Higg's Boson particle?

Just having some fun, my friend...but just a reminder--if it is indeed a factual force--it must have a mass, a measurable energy, and an origin as its first cause.

Can you identify the first time "chance" was responsible for anything in this physical universe? The question is rhetorical--because when you claim something is fact--you must be able to give and quantify the evidence supporting your claim....:hi::peace2:

You're saying there is no such thing as luck? LOL.

LUCK...when preparation meets opportunity...

Dear gracious we are fighting hard for perhaps our most important recruit and you guys are arguing over if luck is real or not.

And I am the one that derails threads.

Just having some fun and seeing if you, Bruin, are paying attention! :eek:lol::eek:lol:

How much did that monster deer weigh? Did you kill him here in Tennessee?

I have no personal knowledge about Lambert--but have read all these posts.....

I think it's much ado about nothing--be VERY surprised if Lambert is not a Vol come next Friday.. GO VOLS! :salute:

i get yer point, a bit too serious. but, def agree nonetheless. we def need this guy but it aint gonna end the world if we dont.

Billy Ratliff hit the center (or guard cant quite remember) knocking him back where CS either had his foot stepped on or tripped causing him to stumble and consequently causing him to put the ball on the ground in an attempt to gather himself. He then left the ball there where Mr. Ratliff pounced on it. There was a very well done video breakdown done. It may be on YouTube. Check it out.

Well, at least someone else knows what happened. Vol fans have seen slow motion replays of that for years.

For once I agree with you. Anyone have any recent news on Lambert? CBJ was suppose to visit him today.

Not sure what you have read but we are waiting to hear from VQ on our visit went today.

The only thing from auburns visit yesterday was he reportly told their mods it went very well and Wednesday he would have a decision

People look too far into the Wed announcement thing. Powell is doing the same thing and he'll probably stick with Miami. Lawson did it last year after he took 4 OV's and stuck with Auburn. Jason Carr basically did the same thing after he visited Bama, he just never made it public. It happens fairly often.

It's recruiting, he's interested in AU, but he's committed to Tennessee. There's a reason he committed here first and we get the last in home. The ones already conceding him were probably the ones thinking UT had no shot at Malone because he had a beef with Hurd.

And even if he does flip, we have til Feb to go get someone to replace him. The world isn't over.

"Jones was supposed to meet with him tonight. I'm not sure if he's still there or if he's out of the house now.

As we've said all along, Lambert has given every indication to us and to Tennessee that he is solid, but Auburn wasn't going away.

You have to think he's still interested in Auburn if he is letting Auburn in the house, though. We'll try and see what the situation is after tonight and Jones leaves the house."

I hate to quote you for other's sake, but you have conveniently added the word "very" every time you quote the 247 report. Adams quotes him as saying the visit "went well." I know that doesn't fit your angle on this particular argument you are trying to pick, but it is worth noting in case people put any stock in your ridiculous theories.

My mistake it appears he said his visit went well(not very) and would be making a final decision on Wednesday.

Doesn't change my opinion

Ignore the pot stirrer.............he put the very for a reason........

If that's accurate then this isn't ending well at all.

The kid has insisted he has already made his mind up and now Wednesday is the end.

Hope that is taken out of context

Notice the comment about context.

From my very first post on the subject I acknowledged the quotes might be out of context.

I've always wondered how the vq guys got their info. Do they get it first hand from coaches?

Since Hubbs has been there for so long I'm sure he knows a ton of people in the AD that he gets stuff from.

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. You probably don't believe in luck cause you are a TN fan, and we haven't seen any in a long long time.

We've seen plenty of luck the last several years. The problem is it's been all bad.

lots of connections inside and out of the program, coaches, ex athletes, and most of the time the kids directly themselves.

if im not mistaken the hubber also works for the vol radio network.

These are the type of players that Butch has to land if Tennessee is ever going to get back to relevancy. Let's hope Butch can close it out.
