'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

Same as they've been saying. Haven't seen any comments today. Unless Lambert is pulling a fast one and lying to VQ and the staff, he's all Vol. Could he be lying and flip at the last minute? Sure, but so could every other recruit. I'm not worried.

Getting nervous over those auburn rivals percentages is hilarious.

For the record, I started having doubts but not because of the percentages. My reason was posted earlier today.:)

That is the only time that they have really been dead wrong. The big issue with Wright is that he told VQ directly he was signing with Tennessee and he was also telling the coaching staff the same thing, so VQ was getting the Vol message from both sides.

I don't think Lambert is going to straight up lie like that. He isn't Columbus trash.

They really weren't wrong. Wright told them he was a Vol then rumored to have been visited by Trooper the night before, which isnt allowed.

My question is what % was lambert before last nights visit??

Last I saw the auburn rivals guys said he was very unlikely to flip

Same as this week - 35%. Ron is right for the most part about list on AU Rivals Hot Boards. It is a list of commitments and targets with percentages assigned on where they think AU stands. Most targets have either visited or AU Rivals thinks/knows have communicated with Auburn. They tend to go a bit higher on a target if he has recent/multiple visits from AU.

The % is just one of a list of things.

Now if those % have been the same for over a week that takes that off of the list of worries. I took it sctiger was saying that was new info

The last thing I remembered you posting on your rivals guys was they said he was very unlikely to flip. I thought this was new info.
Thanks for clarifying

My advice is not to worry about it. Let's just see what happens after Butch and Co. visit tonight. VQ knows their stuff.

I tend to agree. Why not view it as AU Rivals says 65% he is a Vol?

I'm not a big fan of lambert letting the auburn staff have an in home but I think that's more of his long relationship with the assistant there. Or maybe he is lying and flips. Anythings possible! But I'm rolling with VQ on this one. I'm not going to get nervous until they do.

I will be interested to hear what comes out of tonight. I can assure I won't worry about it either way. I just enjoy discussing it and trying to understand what's going on

That makes the most sense. I agree with that because they know their stuff.

Discovered how great the show THE GOOD WIFE is about four episodes in this season...been watching from the beginning since yesterday via Amazon Prime...oh..Lambert's all Vol...Bruin quit cutting and listening to emo music

Yeah, it will be interesting. It's all part of recruiting elite talent instead of the way Dooley recruited because nobody wanted his guys.

Somewhat related here and I'm embarassed that I can't think of many but... who are some of our past JUCO greats?

Dale Carter, Chuck Smith, Chris Mims, Anthony Miller, Eric Swanson, Charlie Garner, Mychael Rivera, and the list could go on an on.

Not to be argumentative but if you can find it watch again, closely. There is a certain DL that would beg to differ.

Stoerner dropped back and put the ball on the ground without being touched. UT did nothing to cause him to do that. Yes they capitalized on the luck, but UT did nothing to cause him to make a mistake he had never made in his whole life.

He didn't just drop back. He was scrambling to run out more time. He stumbled. Darwin Walker pounced on the ball. Travis Henry goes bam, bam bam. We score. Game over. The fear that caused Stoerner to choke wasn't luck.

Big difference between that and a Hail Mary last play pass and a missed FG returned for a TD.

Whether or not luck exists is not a matter of opinion, simply fact. Luck is chance, and chance exists whether you believe in it or not.

funny reasoning--just when did luck originate...did luck create itself--or did it just evolve over millions of years out of the primordial goo?

If there is no absolute, factual basis for all things--then is your life just luck and you were born by chance?

You say that luck--or chance--is a fact. Okay--just what is luck, or chance? Does it have an identity? Who assigned its definition and identity? How has chance affected anything as an absolute and factual force in the universe?

If chance is a physical force of fact--then it's force, in fact, is equal to its mass multiplied by it's acceleration (F=ma) according to thermodynamic law!

Since it must have a mass to be a factual, physical force in the universe among physical beings--then it's energy is related to the nobel prize winning reality of atomic energy: E=m*c2 (squared). Therefore, it must exist in some relationship to the physical energy of light (since one reality of light is a measurable mass of energy--i.e., photons).

Having a mass means it's a physical reality--how do we observe this physical phenomenon? You claim that it's a factual force that is real (you said it exists whether we believe it or not)--how can its effects be measured and quantified? Is it a sub-atomic particle that can be identified? Did it originate with the Higg's Boson particle?

Just having some fun, my friend...but just a reminder--if it is indeed a factual force--it must have a mass, a measurable energy, and an origin as its first cause.

Can you identify the first time "chance" was responsible for anything in this physical universe? The question is rhetorical--because when you claim something is fact--you must be able to give and quantify the evidence supporting your claim....:hi::peace2:

Billy Ratliff hit the center (or guard cant quite remember) knocking him back where CS either had his foot stepped on or tripped causing him to stumble and consequently causing him to put the ball on the ground in an attempt to gather himself. He then left the ball there where Mr. Ratliff pounced on it. There was a very well done video breakdown done. It may be on YouTube. Check it out.
