Kids love the attention and fans love serenading recruits. Sometimes it gets over the top but most people keep it respectable I feel. It's basically just become an interactive recruiting tool for certain programs like ours. Prospects use it to garner interest (followers), network with coaches and other prospects, to recruit other prospects, and they even use to even gauge interest-levels of different fan bases. Overall I'd say it's a good thing, especially for a program like ours.I'm basing it off of Lambert's comments about the fanbase frustrating him on Twitter, because we apparently keep suggesting that he's not solid to UT and going to flip to Auburn.
Do these websites help or hurt us, in the end?
All of the psychos pissed Lambert off tonight. It is horrible when the lunatic fringe can reach out and touch someone in the wrong way.
