Anyone still trying to recruit Malone after his announcement would be wasting their time. Who he chooses is it plain and simple. It's going to be a clear thought out decision that he is 100 percent confident in. Not going to flip

I think it is once they enroll in class and attend class...Remember orgeron telling commitments to not show up to class so they could transfer to USC when Kiffin left.

^^^^yep, this^^^^

Did the EE's attend bowl practice that year before attending class?

That was the date they could transfer without sitting out iirc. Contact rules weren't the issue then

In all seriousness, Malone will inform the coaches where he will attend prior to his announcement, and the losing schools (i.e., Georgia, FSU, Clemson) will have limited, if any, contact with him. He and his parents will put an end to it pretty quick.

Maybe so but you know recruiting as good as anybody and you know some staffs won't take no for an answer.

Malone doesn't have facebook or twitter. Other staffs will have to go through his coaches or parents for the most part. Doubt it's an issue after he commits. But I'm sure someone on here will argue about this non-issue as long as others engage with him.

Surely there is no one like that on this board.

Bru in their right mind would argue this?

The Malones take his phone from him in the evenings quite a bit to protect him from constant calls from the coaches. He gets calls constantly. Butch called him last night.

IIRC
Once you attend class or practice with the team your bound to that team, it's over, it's just like signing the LOI. They do sign an LOI on signing day but its just a formality. You've basically already done it when you enroll and attend class, but since football doesn't have an early signing period everybody still signs it on signing day.

Doesn't matter anyway though.

not sure about that. i think he will get good playing time, but im not sure which guys will start. dont forget we have Pearson, North and Pig. not sure Malone will START over them, but he might end up a "co-starter"

I agree with this.

I think North will be the only "starter," really.

I see Malone, Pearson, Pig and Jenkins (think he's going to be a really good one) rotating around a lot.

WR will be night and day next year IMO. Slot will have a 3rd year Pig, second year Johnson, DY, Jenkins off his RS year and Wharton. Outside will be North, Croom, Harris, Pearson, Malone with Booth and Creamer available wherever needed. So much more competition and hopefully knowledge of the system, oh yea and talent too.
