"I talked to coach Strip," Phillips said. "I got their kind of late. but I talked to coach Strip after the game and he just asked me how my shoulder was and stuff. I'm just rehabbing it right now."

The Hillsboro high School standout now has over a dozen offers including his most recent offer from Ohio State, a program that intrigues Phillips.

"They're a really big football program and they've been recruiting me for a while but they finally offered me," Phillips said. "It was great that a top three or four team in the country would offer me and they've been good the past few years so that's big."
