Pig: Some people get mentally beat playing Alabama before they even step onto the field because of their ranking and their name. We're playing the red team this week. {hope this helps those of you who are scared of Alabama} :)

Sounds like a few older guys might have joined our young leader doing all that extra work.

@wesrucker247: #Vols Sr DE Marlon Walls on why he lost 15 pounds: "'Cause (freshman DE) Corey Vereen is right behind me."

I just watched Pearson's highlights and man the guy is talented. I expect him to contribute next year, especially with a more seasoned Worley and other wide receivers to take the pressure off. I'm also ready to see Jalen Hurd tote the rock.

Serious question.... Are you guys not worried about how UA's WRs matchup with our DBs?

Say what you want, but Norwood is a solid WR. He would probably start for us. Runs good routes and is a solid possession guy.

Kenny Bell is a guy that can stretch the field. Very fast. Burns defenses on play action. We all know what Amari Cooper can do. O.J. Howard is a threat from the TE/H-Back position.

Outside of Sutton, we are undoubtedly screwed at the CB position. I think Toney is slowly progressing, but he's still a liability in coverage. Coleman got beat twice in last year's game, so I'm sure he will get picked on.

Maybe if we get enough pressure on AJ, he will force throws, or have to dump it off or hit his hot route. We need to try and get them in 3rd and long early. So we can see their sets and looks and maybe we can adjust in the 2nd half.

Not really, I don't want our CBs left just isolated on White though. He's extremely dangerous deep. Jones in the slot is dangerous. But Cooper hasn't gotten off at all this year. I also want to see if we can manhandle that line.

Cooper is something like the 5th leading receiver.

The problem with Bama is their wideouts are pretty well balanced. Their average yard per catch is north of 12 I think.

No, because I feel we are playing with house money after beating South Carolina.

My feelings. Play fast and loose and fawk it. Maybe do an onsides kick or trick play even. Just let the kids have fun. Butch seems like he'll play as straight up as possible for as long as he can but when needed (like UGa and 3 4th downs) he'll push the envelope to get his sparks.

I love what Butch Jones is doing & have as much respect for him as any coach in CFB. Tenn will be back soon!

Fellas, headed to downtown New Orleans this weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can watch the game? I have never been to New Orleans. Sadly, I will not be able to bring any clown images this weekend. Apologies in advance. :muahaha:
