Well you can't be on a more recent championship-contender team than Louisville. If that was his main argument for a school than that makes no sense.

I didn't say that was his only criteria did I? He openly said he was a bit concerned about how full the backcourt was, and how many minutes he would get initially. My opinion is he talked to his buddy Cliff, they played AAU together this year, and they decided they wanted to play together. It's really as simple as that, there's no point in trying to read further into it than necessary.

Its getting hard to read the basketball stuff what with all the petty bickering back and forth...I've always found bleedingorange to have good insight...so why do yall try to catch him in some silly contradiction? Carry on with the nanny nanny boo booing if you please...and I'll check back in about a month....

Its that he wants to be on a championship-contender AND get alot of minutes. That is not an immediate option at Louisville which is why I believe he decommited. I would love to see him in orange but I just don't think that is likely. In the end, I just hope he doesn't go to Florida.

Bootzilla in the house baby:pimp_2:

Let me know when you find a message board where everyone agrees. Sounds kinda boring.

Well, I never pointed out that was his only criteria. I'm just trying to figure out all the details with him. Did Lyle mention that he wanted to play with Cliff or is that a mere observation?

Anybody else find it ironic Tiger fans are calling a kid who decommits a diva? Pretty sure I saw those Tigers as one of the first schools to contact him, after he decommited to Louis. And I would be willing to bet they have excepted many a commitment after a kid has decommited from somewhere else.

Lets see who was the last "diva" they mentioned on here?.... Seems more like butthurt than diva.

Perhaps you need to work on differentiating between what fans think and what coaches do. Also, I don't remember any Tiger fans calling Lyle a diva.

Fair enough.

The other diva stuff came about in the Leron Black thread.

fwiw: Probably won't believe me, but I wasn't calling any specific posters out. I was just pointing out the irony, as I saw it.

I made have used the term diva. I still think Black is somewhat that. Maybe that's not a good term for him but, yeah, Memphis would have taken him no matter what I think about him. In fact he told the staff that he was going to commit to Memphis on his visit and then then next day took them off his list.

I've never said anything like that about Lyles. Don't know much about the kid.

Believe it or not. It came from more than there (BB office). I heard it first (AAU) there. Doesn't matter, he commited to Ill. He shocked some saying he was going to commit to Memphis. These aren't AAU rumors.

It didn't happen, or even CLOSE to happen, so yea I'd take it as a rumor. As you even said, he supposedly said this and the next day cuts Memphis....that sounds plausible.

Believe me, it did. Doesn't matter if you or anyone else believes it. I do have a bit of inside info and contact in U of M BB. Not just AAU stuff.

Bowers was the second kid that informed the staff he was commiting and changed his story the next day.

Remember, I'm the one that said I didn't want him (Black). I was shocked when I heard the next morning after it was said. It was a bigger shock to me that Nichols commitment. I just didn't see a fit there with King, Iverson, Nichols and Shaq. Didn't think it would be good for overall chemistry.
