Volly, the lame point I was attempting to make was that is you buy convenience foods, you wouldn't need items such as flour and cornmeal.

I was in a hurry and grabbed it thinking it was cornmeal. Tried using in place of flour for chicken strips the other night and wasn't impressed. Way too much cornmeal taste. But I'll try it on fish.

made the usual stuffed jalapenos this afternoon, added a cocktail weiner to each of them though. Saw the recipe in the BGE cookbook. Wasnt bad. Pork butt turned out very well.

I'm not throwing it away. That's wasteful. I use cornmeal and flour to pan fry fish so it'll work for that. I just need to buy a lot more fish.

I'd try it on a small piece first and a strong flavored fish like catfish, just to see if you like it, or you'll be wasting the fish too. imo.
