'14 IN SG Jaquan Lyle

All of Lyle's lists have included Tennessee. At least the ones I have seen. That guy's list has 10 teams on it. Lyle's list has been 6 and just recently expanded to 7 to include UCLA.
This guy(the writer) is confusing. Comes out with another article on Sunday that does include TN.
Jaquan Lyle Will Visit Louisville Today | The Cardinal Connect

Getting serious when you take mom on visits though.
Pitino will make a strong pitch sunday with Russell going to OS.

He visited Louisville with his mom yesterday, that's what the scout article discussed I believe. Someone go page wutang so we can read it lol.

On Lyle...I've said for awhile, it felt like Louisville and Indiana on top, with Tennessee 3rd. I felt for awhile like we might land him , but Louisville has made him more of a priority than I thought they would honestly. We have to hope he takes an official to Tennesee, if he doesn't its gonna be real tough.

The silver lining may be that Louisville was one of the schools Lindsey was high on. I don't see UNC offering as their class is already almost full, I don't see UK offering, and UL may pull the offer if Lyle commits to them. It would fall to a Tennessee/Providence battle and I like our chances there. Richmond & Mitchell are 2 PGs we are in on also who are good options if Lyle goes elsewhere.

Where does he have a list without UT?

"As of April his list of six included Florida, Butler, Kentucky, UCLA , Louisville and Duke in no particular order."

Like I said, he contradicts a previous statement in that article.

Dude, that is Trey LyleS with an "S" and not Jaquan Lyle with no "s."

The article is about both prospects.

I don't know much about Mitchell, but if Richmond improves as much in 13-14 as he did 12-13 he'll be 'blue chip'.

Thanks for translating. Had me confused.
Too early for me to be ready about Lyle and Lyles in the same article.

I will say the reason his mom was most likely with him on the trip is because the Indiana Junior All-Stars played the Kentucky Junior All-Stars and you have to provide your own transportation to the event. So she probably drove him down. I still think we're third. Official visits are important

Either would be a very solid pickup
Miss on Lyle and I might be inclined to take both.
Would be solid at PG for 4 years and either can play the 2.
Mitchell same size as Demery and seems to be a more consistent perimeter shooter.
Both (Richmond and Mitchell) have outstanding lateral quickness.

Agree 100%

Landing 2 out of Lyle, demery, Richmond and Mitchell would be huge. Adds depth and versatility to the PG position.

I was able to watch this kid play in the state tourney, really impressive. When I found out we were a possible destination for his services I was excited. Love when Indiana boys play for UT. Hopefully we can overcome Rick and Tom and get him down here. We always need some good guards. Lyle is a heck of a player, we need to stay on him on twitter so we can stay on his mind.

Wish we were in on Trey Lyles, monster big guy. Just hope he doesn't go to Kentucky. Noticed we were in some way recruiting his teammates, might have just been a ploy considering neither of them have pictures or rankings on rivals. But definitely Lyle and Lyles two premier Indy Ballers

Jaquan Lyle (evansville, ind./bosse high), espn's no. 16 overall recruit in 2014 and the no. 4 ranked point guard, recently visited louisville along with his mother.

Did his latest visit on the louisville campus sway him towards the 2013 national champions?

While the visit certainly couldn't have hurt, it doesn't appear to have changed lyle's recruiting plans. He tells brian snow of scout.com that he's still considering seven schools -- louisville, indiana, illinois, ucla, tennessee, florida, and ohio state -- and he plans to take all of his visits before coming to a decision.

One factor that won't come into play? The position he plays at the next level. "a lot of schools tell me that i can be a combo who plays the one or two," lyle tells the website. "it won't play a role in my decision. I am a big guard i can play the one, two, or maybe if i grow the three, so that doesn't impact me."

Well that clears up why he doesn't care if a school has a PG committed already, he's willing to play 1-3.

I also believe that he just wants to play around a team that's ready to win. He wants to play with good players. Having Hubbs Thompson Cornish and Cofer should help.

Yea but that's likely not the level of talent UL will have in their roster unfortunately

Yeah not at all. Early I thought it was a foregone conclusion that it was IU until Trey Lyles decommited. Now I do think it's UofL. Hopefully he can be swayed.

Jaquan Lyle was gonna cut his list to 4 today at 5pm...as the time neared he decided it was just too difficult and has decided to wait. Said all 7 teams are still in it

Yeah this tells me UofL and IU may not be as out in front as we thought.

I just think he has formed a good bond with some people and he hates to cut it. They may still be way out in front, but he was gonna cut to 4 which means he had to add 2 to UL/IU and cut 3 teams he had good relationships with.

My guess, his 4 will be UL, IU, UT and Illinois.

Yeah that's what I was thinking also as the 4.
