I believe in needing a warrant to enter a home but if you pull that crap under these circumstances, thereby delaying the search, you're being an ass.
Not necessarily. If you are home-growing, you might be wise to request a warrant with specific reasons that restrict what the cops can and cannot do (to include what is germane enough to photograph and log as evidence). It's not being an ass to use your legally protected rights to stay out of jail; it is being prudent. However, if you just let the cops in, you have invited them in and everything is fair game.
I'm not seeing anything like that -- "full blown extremist" -- including on NBC's site.
Washington Post article on this:
YouTube account that belongs to a person named Tamerlan Tsarnaev had bookmarked videos on terrorism
This hasn't been verified in a strict sense as I'm sure the FBI will have YouTube divulge server-side logs detailing his viewing activity and verifying with his ISP that this was coming from his residence.
If it is verified in that manner, that is pretty clear he was a religious extremist.
It's already proof that the older brother was a very devout Muslim in the best of terms.
