"Everything went well and they told me how much they really like me and I appreciate that," Malone said. "They showed me a lot of good stuff and it's a different atmosphere up here. It went really well."
"It just feels like a tighter atmosphere, like they're making it a family, a family thing and less business and letting the players enjoy it while they're up there while trying to win games and national championship games," Malone offered.
"Just really the coaching staff and how they move around and how much energy they've got going on and how they're starting to get their players to believe and when you get players to believe anything can happen," Malone said.
"Overall, I feel like this is going to be a good staff. I'm looking forward to seeing what they're going to do this year," Malone said. "Right now they have big plans so we'll see how the season goes and the plan and the strategy and how it's going."

When asked to expound on this different atmosphere, Malone said it felt more like a family while he was in Knoxville.

Malone was one of the many players to take in the Tennessee victory over Kentucky on the hardwood and while that atmosphere was impressive to him, he noted it didn't measure of to that of one he's seen in Neyland Stadium.
"It was a pretty good atmosphere," Malone said. "But, I've been to the Florida (football) game so it was nothing compared to that."
The lasting impression Malone has of this new Tennessee staff was a renewed energy that Jones' crew is bringing to Knoxville.

This is what I'm afraid of....
14' recruiting will be the crossroads for UT as a program imo....
UT has a chance to easily get in the top 10....
Figures we will have one of the toughest schedules in the nation.
Lots of buzz that he loves Florida. Here's what I found on a gator site.
2014 WR Josh Malone eventually to Florida? Reply
That according to former Gators WR Lorenzo Spikes, who trains a lot of players before the NFL Combine and also trains high schol players offseason.
This is what he said today on Twitter:
"The Gators are off to a great start for 2014 and the players that recently committed should climb in the rankings. As far Josh Malone?Putting Will Grier and Josh in touch. Will calls me "big brother". He IS family. Josh is doing well in training. Josh is a great kid that stayed with his local team even with every private school recruiting him and below average QB play. VERY loyal kid! I will say this about JM and take it FWIW. He LOVES Florida. Will he be a Gator? I will tell VERY few but ONLY in private.
"
Former vol Buck Fitzgerald said before the coaching change UT led. He said he doesn't know if the Vols lead but UT is still in good shape after the coaching change about a month ago. Buck is the best source for Tennessee football players so just let things play out.
