No idea...really hope it's Strong. The caliber of coaches this time around are so much better than the last search. We're really nitpicking to be complaining about any of the reported finalist (Strong, Gundy, Fedora, Mora, etc.). It appears our greatest fears (Smart and Golden) were never considered by Hart.

Yeah this is a bit ridiculous for you to reach like this with the race card. Look at guys like Chizik getting a job at Auburn or Smart up for the Auburn job. Or Muschamp turning us down. But Strong was passed over for what. He was as accomplished as any of these other guys before he took the Louisville jon. But you know you'll make of it what you want to.

Same here. I just watched a few minutes of CCS on Youtube and he is not great with the media. I would have to assume that he is much better one on one with recruits and their parents.

Do his players play hard for him?

We could have hired Brian Kelly, we could have hired Kevin Sumlin, for the love of all that is holy let's not be saying "we could have hired Charlie Strong" in three years.

I don't agree. I know people are going to try to compare Strong to these elite level coaches in the SEC but you can't tell me that a guy that is capable of leading Louisville to a BCS game is incapable of being a good game day coach? You don't really give any evidence to support that or the "polish" thing. Louisville fans by and large seem to love the guy and he's well respected by peers (Meyer and others). The race thing is borderline ridiculous too---who is to say what Strong does when he gets here (if he does)?

Lol. I think Rucker is in a feud with Clay Travis. Apparently Travis was the one saying he was talking about Jim Mora.

Clay reports then investigates a lot. Bama suits, Peyton:Titans, Cam Newton, Franklin:Tennessee/Arkansas offer. Gruden: Tennessee is just another example of him throwing stuff at the wall. Glad he has to shave his head honestly.

I kind of like his radio show, the ish stirrer job fits him there. But he isn't a journalist.

It's not anything good, I actually think I misinterpreted some things, but it looked like Rucker was giving him the cold shoulder while moaning about the "rumors."

Rucker is consistent, good reporter, but he's also a whiner.

All this "he's not a good speaker and not polished" stuff is nonsense. I'd rather have a hard working successful coach than some silver tongue mediocre coach to represent my university. Have you SEEN Miles and Saban? Who the heck cares how polished they are on camera? It's like people who say they don't care how effective a politician is all they care about is how well he speaks in public. Society has lost its mind.

His shtick in the spring was that Manning would be UT's next head football coach. :crazy::crazy:
