This is bitter sweet for me. Hate it that JG isn't coming. Glad we finally know the outcome.

Yeah, because first it hit him in the face, knocked him down, came to a rest in his hands, where he then became conscious again, and wondered why he wasn't dressed in crimson. (Edit: Gotta keep family out of it.)

I do know that Hart is ok with a statement saying he didn't contact Gruden camp for 2 weeks. And that when he finally did, he said he was just "doing due diligence." On that basis alone, Hart should be fired.

Would definitely be more difficult but I have heard NOTHING about anyone withholding contributions.

Going through Basketball tickets, not sure why I keep so many when so many get thrown away. Keeping all my football tickets too lol, as will most people. Its ok to be pissed and angry, I was all day yesterday but finally figuring out what happened has given me peace with it. I think Hart knows exactly what he is doing. Every person has a ceiling on their value, even Gruden.

Anyone that knows me off the forum wants any Lady Vols or Basketball tickets the rest of the year hit me up, should have extras to most non-conf boys games and about any girls games. Sorry, no offense, but if you do not have my personal info I am no sharing it with any others at this point.

Hurd will most likely be the #1 recruit in the country for 2014... he's not going to UT.

Saw him play this year.. He's a big kid. Gonna be a beast.

One problem though is he's 6'3 and there just aren't many RBs that are ever that tall.

He may end up a receiver or I would say LB if he weren't so damn fast

Obviously I like where you're coming from (So you're saying there's a chance?) But I think it's safe to assume that Hart dropped the ball here and I cannot understand how he has not been fired yet.

We don't really know what happened. This could all be posturing. Hart doesn't mind taking the heat for a couple of weeks if in the end he trots out Gruden as coach. All will be forgotten and Hart will be the stone cold man for delivering Grudes.

Yesterday was a very good day making sure your post is wrong. The reasonable fan has now moved on and will support another hire.

I agree. A lot of people complained yesterday that if this all happened like AD says, they should have told us earlier. Now they have told us (through Knox media types) Gruden isn't happening. So we are all pi$$ed and we complain and heal for a wek or so while the search continues. Then two things can happen:

1) another coach is hireed. But we have passed through enough stages of grief to give him a chance. Or

2)Hart pulls a fast one and hires Gruden. We all welcome back the prodigal son and party like its 1998.

The pain of yesterday is necessary either way.

We went from somehow getting Bryce Brown (#1 recruit) to not even remotely being in the picture for an in-state #1. Pathetic doesn't go far enough in describing the mess we have to clean up.

In his eyes the only decent hire is Gruden. Again, semantics. I think Strong, Fedora, Franklin or Fisher would be good hires. Many here disagree. That's discussion but the quality of a coaching candidate is a variable depending on who is looking at them and their attitude toward this search and that candidate.

No matter who he hires, it will not be proven a good or bad hire for 2-3 seasons regardless of what we say or feel.

No I think Gruden was a HOME RUN hire. Anyone is a distant second.

And Strong and Fedora are lackluster average hires!!!

Not going to say Boro, Jay, DTO and others were FOS in any way. I know they believed what they were hearing.

I regret majorly listening to info from the money guys. They always let their mouth overload their ass.

When it comes to Jake, DTO, Boro, Jay, Lex, and Gman I know them now away from the forum and can tell you 100% they were never FOS, but in my opinion they and myself were told elaborate lies that were repeated so much by people that "should know" they were impossible to identify as false.

Why would money guys tell elaborate lies to folks to which they are close enough to confide in to begin with?

No. But Hart certainly seems satisfied with the statement. Clearly, he was trying to cover his a$$ with this report. So, let's make him explain why it took him 13 days to contact Gruden camp.
