Pat Forde on Arky radio talking about Strong. Forde lives in Louisville, very connected.

Strong may not want to leave UL, returns LOTS of starters.

Strong might prefer ACC to SEC, and UL is probably going to the ACC.

Already getting rock star money at UL and has lower expectations.

Forde on UT:

Strong definitely a candidate, Butch Jones a dark Horse that has a good chance. Surprisingly slow week in news. Thinks of all the open jobs, UT is most attractive, Arky is second most.

Big fan of BD..not sure why so many people don't give the man credit for his time at UM and UNC. The guy can find talent anywhere and would put together a top 5 staff at UT. I just have behind Stoops and Strong bc of his NCAA issues.

Been saying your first sentence for weeks...when it comes to what Hart specifically said he wants in a coach nobody fits the bill better than Strong...

This is great news that he's such a serious candidate

Should've had a NC at Miami..
BD got 8 wins with a team that has 13 kids suspended, near beat LSU that year too.

Dude, I have no idea where you are getting your info at but it's wrong. The WORST UL's defense has been ranked since Strong & Bedford arrived at UL is 25th.

Hopefully our next coach will win. That's all I ask. Skeeter seems to suggest things might be leaning towards Strong. If so, then just win, mother****er! Win!!!!!!!!

he needs to ask around about VB as a coach. Only Dana Akina and Mark Stoops are more respected by peers and recruits. The D took a step back this year but they are also young.

If you're Strong and you take the UT job is VB someone you bring with you as DC?

No doubt that Strong is in a good situation. The ACC will not be that difficult. Then again, as some have pointed out, one loss there, and you're done! If he wants to compete with the big boys and get back in the SEC, he will. Coaches are coaches. They're a different breed. I have no pretensions of understanding what makes them tick. We'll see what happens.

Forde even said UL is overpaying him for how short his tenure is as a HC. They have the money to fight UT for him too.

no doubt it would be a upgrade for fedora and thats somebody that the AD should be able to make it happen with for sure and probably fast

strong seems to have his choice of jobs in the sec right now lol
