I posted earlier the most disturbing part of what I was told. They said they don't have time for PR. I really hope that's wrong or that changes quickly

i personally think he is still very much in play...whether or not we get him we'll see

When this is all said and done and if Gruden does not come, then I wonder what the OG's meant when they said the deal is "done"?

2 day old info has always been given to hyams after something has (if it was in the first place) resolved out of AD for a reason is my belief at this point

If everything is supposed to be lined up for a Gruden hire and now claims the AD has dropped the ball is correct, then obviously the AD has alot more power in this decision than some think. "It's not Hart's call, it's the boosters"! Really? Why has the man not been hired and announced if the boosters will do anything to get it done? "Hart will be fired if Gruden is not hired". I call BS. Same ones claiming this thought the AD had no say in this coaching hire. It appears that is not correct. If Hart has drawn the line to the crazy Gruden demands, good for him. Jon Gruden is not bigger than UT football.

I'm thinking...if UT put me through this stress over a few extra mil for assistants over several years or some other technicality BS...then F them. You don't put your fan base through this crap to not get it done...which is why I'm still 100%...only thing that makes sense to me imo

It's all speculation, none of these turds that are reporting on this fiasco have any factual basis for their views. It's all SPECULATION. They're putting 2+2 and getting 1.6. Hart is buying time, but he still has to conduct a search. Candidates must be interviewed for the job (to include at least one black coach). One day it's 0% Gruden, then it's he turned down a meeting, to he has a contract in hand, to it's the staffs salary that is the problem. Problem is none of these Jack Wads know anything substantial. Hart isn't giving them anything and they ALL are mad. The OG's said this would come to pass. It is all playing out as they said it would. The boosters running it, with Hart as the face. As we say on the range in the Army, Hart's taking all commands from the Tower, and the Tower is the boosters. He's doing his "search" while the boosters sew up Gruden via his agent. Gruden "sidestepped", but did not put the rumor to bed. Hart hasn't put it to bed, because he can't. If you need reassurance, go back and read the posts by some of the OG's last month, and you'll see everything unfolding as they said it would. Relax, and be positive. When Gruden is ready to be announced, we will all know.
