false. Under no circumstances do you let money get in the way of this. By all accounts Jon Gruden is a reasonable person and not asking for the moon. You make this deal happen if there is any plausible way. You don't soften on Jon Gruden (no homo?).

Oh it's real! It's a stupid play on words where when you open the door it's meant to say "Opportunity is Now Here." I'm sure this was more of Dooley's doing! Right alongside the door that says "We're Growing Bamboo" and "The Germans are Invading."

I could too. Hart or whoever is kinda stringin us along. If it's not Gruden, tell us now. Like carter said, it will be easier to accept another coach if we aren't expecting our dream hire. However, I still think we hire Gruden.

If you read this thread you will see that people say the same things to people who come out of nowhere with no sources and say Gruden is definitely coming. Most people here have no problem with people thinking he is not coming. We have a problem with people who come in here and spout off 100% either way as if it is fact but have no sources.

I'm beginning to think Freak is just copy and pasting since Gruden I. It's like "Call Me Maybe" on repeat in my head up in here for the last four weeks.

basilio just said gundy is in the picture....and thats where i turned it off. i know its entertainment but i cant listen to a radio host that has the equivalent of tourettes syndrome when it comes to blurting things out re coaching staff. gundy would be a great hire, he isnt coming here. what a blurter....

I hope Gruden comes as bad as anyone, as you also claim. I read a lot and I'm not trying to be a smart-alec but it does appear you are taking everything Boro says as an opportunity to attack. Stop and think about it just a little.

I have nothing against you or anyone who posts but you do appear to make it personal.

I love to see everyone share their opinions but it gets old when they some seem to almost stalk an individual so they can hammer them. As someone said earlier OCI and the 3 Amigos thing. Everytime he says something that is thrown up.

Does Boro know everything? Heck I don't know but I love reading his comments. It makes me get excited about our football team. If it doesn't happen I will still get up and the sun will once again shine and I will think no differently of those that said yes or no.

Unfortunately anything is subject to change!!! Thanks to the OG and to you Jbeard for showing both sides, but please call off the attack mode we are all Vol fans aren't we? :hi:

Let them announce Strong or Golden without addressing the Gruden stuff and it will get ugly fast for anyone hired.

Man, most people not on these boards are a little more open to other coaches.. Nowhere else is this considered a sure thing, or even very likely at all..This is the only place I've been that is just sold on Gruden being the coach.. Most around Knox/campus I've talked to think he's a longshot.. These boards don't speak for the majority of fans.
