Here is the thing....my sources are different. I've told everybody how I feel about this....I think it is done. I'm 100%.....but that is my gut feeling based on every convo I've had about this over the past month. Those are a lot of convos.

That is all I can offer VN.

I feel silly typing this on a message board, but I'm not looking for anything out of this. I'm a regular poster who has some access to the program. The only reason I'm sharing is because this is a good forum for it and because this is a watershed moment for the program. I've been here for 7 years...and will be here with or without Jon Gruden. I appreciate every piece of info I've gotten out of this forum.

The OGs should be applauded for what they have brought to the table.

In my way of thinking, if I was fired from a company and they owed me money I would want every last dime. I do not think waiting until Friday to announce is going to kill us regarding recruiting. If it is JG recruits are going to give us a look that we may not have gotten otherwise.

I doubt recruiting has played a part in any of the decision making. If it has, then Hart ought to be fired. And by that I mean, if any coach has been passed up because he wanted to get somebody in here to start recruiting, then he is an idiot.

This is a marathon, not a sprint, and if we make the right hire, recruiting will take care of itself.

Hell, Dooley had 10 days and did well.

a) Peyton donating $15 million
b) Chaney to be retained
c) text from "Dave" confirming deal is done
d) claiming an inside source on one of the school tour rumors
e) claiming to have seen the camera that took the pic of Gruden at the NOLA airport and saying (lying) that the pic was taken in Knoxville

This, right or wrong i appreciate the info being put out here in the thread. It makes for great discussion and hopefully we will come with a great coach.

I am thankful for all you bring to the table..I am 100% on Gruden, but if does not happen, the only thing that changes in my life will be which thread I visit..

Yeah this makes perfect sense to me as to why he/we wouldn't announce beforehand. Financial situation for Gruden comes first for he and his family's livelihood.

Gruden Cruitin is not a concern to me, when he walks into a living room of a recruit, he is bound to get their full attention.

I saw a post a couple of days ago that said Morris was off the table and said look closer to Sevierville for our next OC... I thought he was referring to Bates
