It's like Mr. Potato head. You can really put anything anywhere and win, but this is a helpful guide to make you a better Gruden Insider:

I agree that Gruden can turn the program around, but it takes time. Its true that he has fairly little college experience but I think the transition will be under 2 years.

The frustration from the fans is becoming palpable, and the hunger for a proven winner could force Hart to spend more than he wants for another coach. Then again, the school's chancellor recently made it clear he's willing to help make ends meet.

Topping the wish list of the fans is ESPN analyst Jon Gruden, along with Jimbo Fisher and Al Golden. Fisher and Golden have head coaching positions at Florida State and Miami, respectively.

Hart said he knows just where to look for the right hire.

"I have been doing this a long time. I have done a number (of coaching searches)," Hart said. "It is a pretty important hire. I think any leadership position hire is critically important."

Alabama has a wish list like none other, and it can climb back to the No. 1 recruiting class with a strong finish. Landing some combination of Laremy Tunsil, Robert Foster, and Alvin Kamara on the offensive side of the ball, or flipping the commitments of USC's Jalen Ramsey, Auburn's Dee Liner and Florida State's Marquez White, would go a long way. And if that isn't enough, Antonio Conner, Vonn Bell and Mackensie Alexander remain on the hot list for the Tide.

If it's truly a wish list, I don't understand Jimbo Fisher and Al Golden at spots 2 and 3. I would rather have Gundy and Mora over either, and probably Patterson as well.

@SportsTalkwBo: Mort: Jon Gruden is not going to be the next head coach at Arkansas. An offer hasn't been made, no matter the speculation.

I don't know how people can possibly say this is a done deal there is so much speculation right now who knows other than Hart.

agree on Fisher. I just don't get the love for Jimbo...great OC and recruiter but looking at his time at FSU his best wins vs bad UF teams and Clemson this year. Most over rated coach in football with the way the media gives him credit. jmo

Fisher would be better than a lot of other coaches, but he is still incredibly overrated.

I still don't get the fascination with Golden. He is Dooley 2.0.

Why do people love Taggart so much? He's doing fine at Western Kentucky and all but I want a bit more proven coach.

Ditto. Taggart may be good in WK, he may fall under the Harbaugh tree, he may be a great RB coach, but I just don't see the fit that UT absolutely NEEDS with Taggart.
