I'm not immersed in the the whole process of how decisions are made but it's my understanding that there's a separate atheltics board that would also have to meet before anything significant can change in the SOP. If wrong, someone fill me in please.

I think Hart's folks would have to make a decision and then get approval from Cheek. My understanding is that Hart had made a decision and Cheek has said no. As long as that moron is at UT football will be screwed.

I can vouch for OldVol on one thing. He may end up being wrong about this, but its not because he is toying with people. He is telling what he is being relayed. Trust him until he lets you know otherwise. He has outlets to more sources than most of us imagine.

It's being overblown. The amendment of the UT-UTFI affiliation and services agreement to change the reporting line for athletics departments personnel at UT Knoxville will resolve most of the athletic concerns because it will provide the UTAD the funds/power needed to make its own decisions.
