If Dooley were to be retained, and I do not think that is even remotely possible, then the fan apathy in Knoxville would rival that of NE Ivy Leaguers like Cornell that have bleachers.

This thread is like a bad drug, after day one, i swore that i wouldnt get trapped by it. I promised myself that i would try to stay realistic, and keep in mind that nothing would really happen until the end of the season, and the odds of Gruden coming here were very slim....but then i started reading all of the insider's info and started believing and now i find myself coming back for more, day after day....i'd really like to see JG as the HFCATUTK, and i have not lost hope. Yes, I admit, I am a Grudenite. Until i hear him say "No" i am holding onto hope.

So all the "insiders" on VQ say the chances with Gruden are now offically 0%. What do the VN insiders have to say or what are you hearing? Apparently something changed for the bad over the weekend.

Nothing has changed. The BOT meeting this week has been scheduled for a long time, and the decisions that will be made have been in the works for some time.
