I'm not immersed in the the whole process of how decisions are made but it's my understanding that there's a separate atheltics board that would also have to meet before anything significant can change in the SOP. If wrong, someone fill me in please.
So all the "insiders" on VQ say the chances with Gruden are now offically 0%. What do the VN insiders have to say or what are you hearing? Apparently something changed for the bad over the weekend.
Folks Gruden isn't leaving ESPN for Rocky Top. Don't get your hopes up.

As it stands now, the AD is under the University. What is supposed to happen at the board meeting is taking the AD out from under the University.
As it stands now the SEC money we get goes to Cheek, then he gives Hart what he wants him to have from it. That has to change. It should be the opposite. That is one of the items on the agenda for the meeting that will be addressed.
As for Gurden, I still stand where I have always stood. Money Talks.

Yeah, and he makes more where he is at (with endorsements) than he will EVER make at UT. Do you really think it's about the money? NFL will pay more than UT. Do you really think Gruden is about the money?

With all this Admin. chaos, I can't see him coming here anymore.
Not surprised. Nothing good happens to the Vols anymore.
