I can't believe so many people are this upset of a painting on the rock. First off, I laughed for a minute solid when I first saw it. Damn good Zoolander reference, which I always appreciate. Second, if you think this is really going to hurt us in recruiting, you are crazy. Some recruit might see this, but they for sure see the mediocre product we are putting on the field. That hurts way more than any painting that has ever been on the rock. Bottom line, criticism comes with the turf. if he can't handle it, win some meaningful games. That will sway a kid so much more than any silly painting.

That said you the school icon thing is a weak argument. This is the same rock that had Fire Phil on it and had some choices words for Kiffin on it. I think what makes it such icon of the school is the fact all of these things (plus the good stuff) has been written on it.
