You people are unbelivable. You come on a RUMOR and SPECULATION board and get pissed when someone (like me, UTandUNC, SBV, OCI or anyone else) posts something and it doesnt come true. Isnt that what a rumor board is for, to post rumors you have heard to see if anyone else is hearing the same thing? You know smoke and fire! Its amazing to me that everyone is so quick to bash someone for passing along something they have heard and then act like their lying and somehow looking for props for breaking a story when everyone is ANONYMUS! Whew who, This has been such a pleasure!

If people didnt share their info on what they have heard or read then what would be left, Pics of bouncing boobs (not that I mind those) and people arguing on whether or not Dooley should be fired.

I am not an insider nor do I pretend to be. I DO have a friend in the ticket office, I DO have a friend in the AD's office, My boss goes to clearwater once a month for business and is friends with Pat Morris former oline coach for the bucs, my wifes cousin is John Hassen who is a reporter for ESPN. These are all facts but that doesnt mean that everything they hear in a hallway conversation is fact. If they pass it along to me and I pass it along then take it for what it is. Again, its a RUMOR and SPECULATION thread. If you can't accept that then either hit the ignore button, avoid RUMOR sites, start a FACT and ABSOLUTE thread or take it for what it is.

Could I or should I have worded my thread better to make it clear that I was trying to find out if anyone else has heard what I had, absolutely. I guess from now on unless your harts spouse, lover, secretary (they do all of the work anyway) or grudens spouse, lover or mike tirico (but not his lover) then no one should post anything regarding anything other than bouncing boobs (i like those) and their own personal opinion on whether Dooley gets fired. After all this is a rumor and speculation thread, no room for any of that here!

Ain't nothin' but a G thang baby. I still believe!!! Those calling Boro, Jay and DTO need to look at their posts. OV thought something might happen as early as Sunday but never called it a lock. I think there is no doubt Dooley is gone and I also think everything is being done to get Gruden on board. How can anyone think Dooley is staying on with the three year run we have had? Firing after USCe made the most sense but not if the Gruden piece was not in place.

Or #3 Gruden has already agreed but just not signed the contract and will not until MNF season is completed (Dec. 22nd is last MNF)

Thanks for sharing the information you have. Don't take what people say on here too hard. Just some immature kids looking for someone to blame for their disappointment.

I get this vision of a bunch of these guys finding out their wife/gf/hump&dump is pregnant, being given a due date of December 1st...then screaming at the OB at 5 minutes after midnight on Dec. 1st, "WHERE'S THE DAMN BABY ALREADY!!?!?"

The problem isn't with ppl giving their opinions or speculating on what is going on or what will happen..

The problem is with the guys that pose as insiders and sell rumors as fact in hopes of gaining ecred and insider status.. As already posted- if u don't know it as fact, just don't post it as such.. Just say, I'm not sure if this is right, but I heard from someone that.... Not, Dooley will be fired tomorrow and Gruden will be paid 70mil, book it/confirmed etc.

Those ppl set themselves up for backlash.

For those it may concern- if u say u work in the athletic dept or are connected like that and really don't/aren't... Just stop it plz..

I will say one thing- these coaching circuses are great for the people that run message boards. Kiffin left when I was on TOS, and I realized then how much money Hubbs generated. They want this to keep on going like it has.

Unfortunately, people want instant gratification in today's society. Those that seem to have the good info have always maintained that there is a timeline and people will have to be patient. Others just jump to conclusion and makeup afternoon PC's and then ask why the info was wrong.

Folks, this is a process. I don't know if Jon Gruden will be our coach or not, but there is ALOT of smoke, and there has been almost a week without an official statement from either side. You decide.
