As long as your under the # of coaches allowed on a team and the new coach has passed the qualifications to recruit, I am pretty sure you can do that.

Do it now.... Hart know who wants (not Kirby Smart as many think).... Smart will be about 5 down the list if he is hired...

The only question is if the other school will allow Hart and crew to talk to him...

He will talk to his agent if not allowed to talk to the coach...

CDD may still be here though if Hart cant get who he wants....

How could we get much further down than we are now. We have won one SEC game in 2 years.

Sure if it is a home run hire, but what happens if the home run hire doesn't pan out and you are on top of NSD? That could get ugly fast....

I sure do hope so. I think waiting will do nothing but hurt us in the long run. Allow the new coach's name at least be out there. Allow recruits to know that things will be better on rocky top in 2013. Winning is a priority again. I know it's likely we have to wait till December or later to know who it is, I just hope it's sooner so we can save the recruiting class. North & Green were hoping to see UT pull out a big win. Maybe a big time hire would reassure them UT is where they want to be.

I would be completely and totally shocked if something were done before the season is over.

A decision may be made prior to the season ending (an announcement) confirming that decision may even be made, but no way in hell will the change be made until the regular season ends. Anyone who thinks otherwise is plain delusional.
