He got it Saturday night while he was visiting Arkansas? Seems like some odd timing. Texas arrogance at its finest. But, I suppose they have a right to feel that way where Texas high school kids are concerned.

Seems like a violation to me..He was visiting Arky and the Texas coaching staff contacting him..Anyone have any insight to this?? I'm not familiar with all the recruiting rules.

Kiffhole said it was a vioaltion when Nu'Keese was visiting and Urbie called him. Kiffhole was wrong though.

Some of the best eye candy you can get outside of ASU or USC.

I don't know what the landscape is now, nor do I want to speculate given that I'm 10-15 years older than the majority of the college students nowadays, but UTK had some damn fine coeds when I was there.

Especially the girls in Phi Mu. Again....when I was on the Hill.

UTK is pretty good. Don't get me wrong. But there are several schools I'd put above UTK. For example, UT-Austin, USCw, ASU, and LSU (especially girls from Lafayette)

Loves TN, but with Texas in play there's just too much to overcome. After talking to a friend of his, I'm almost positive he ends up a Longhorn now.

I went to Vol State my first year out of High School. Vol State, compared to my high school (which really wasn't bad) was a mecca of girls.

UTK made that look like a Carny side-show. Of course, this was the thoughts of a newly single (after 3 years of hell) 19 year old...

With Robison getting an offer, Santos is gone.

Robison is definitely a backup plan if Santos is indeed going to commit to Texas, but Santos hasn't even taken his visit yet..

With that being said, Robison is 6'4" 228lbs. and that is a good size for a LB...Plus his 40 time is 4.58 seconds.

Chase Robison - Yahoo! Sports

His offer list isn't nearly as impressive as Santos' offer list, but it sounds like he would be a good pick up.

If he wants to go to Texas, then I am fine with that. Texas is THE football school here in Texas and he is a Texan. If he is going to live here in Texas after football (and especailly if he does not make it into the NFL), he will have a lot more future business opportunities being a former longhorn football player. I am a UT Vol fan and born and raised in TN, but what I wrote is the reality and I don't fault the kid at all if he goes to UT (Texas). It is what it is.

Eh, If he does commit to Texas he will waste away with the other highly ranked recruits in their underdevelopment of a declining program.

Then he should have just committed to Texas and call it a day. No need playing childish games with your recruitment.

They just extended the offer a few days ago and invited him out for an OV. The kid's got a lot to think about, obviously.

Relax Francis.

Please don't ever refer to Texas as UT...

Can we please not have members of our fanbase publicly criticize and flame the kid after he commits to Texas? Pretend you've been committed to Texas this whole time and just picked up a Tennessee offer. Kid has a right to do what he wants.
