Man, talk about a downgrade
Robison is definitely a backup plan if Santos is indeed going to commit to Texas, but Santos hasn't even taken his visit yet..

With that being said, Robison is 6'4" 228lbs. and that is a good size for a LB...Plus his 40 time is 4.58 seconds.

His offer list isn't nearly as impressive as Santos' offer list, but it sounds like he would be a good pick up.

Can we please not have members of our fanbase publicly criticize and flame the kid after he commits to Texas? Pretend you've been committed to Texas this whole time and just picked up a Tennessee offer. Kid has a right to do what he wants.

Not to mention a lot can happen between now and NSD. I would be very measured in criticism of any recruit.

If Santos is going to decommit, I would prefer he do it now where we have some time. This will be hard for him to turn down.

Please don't ever refer to Texas as UT...

LOL. I live in Texas now and they would say the same thing about the Vols. If I were to say UT here, nobody here would think I was referring to the Vols. I know what you are saying, but I have to live here and I have to live in reality, and here in Texas reality is that UT stands for Texas--not the Vols.

Nah, I will give him the business if he does. Believe that.

I'm gonna sit back and wait 'til NSD. He's a great player, and I hope he comes to Tennessee. Maybe he'll switch to Texas, but I think he looked down on UGA for coming to him late and therefore didn't give them much of a chance. I think this would also hurt Texas, but it sounds like he's also grown up a Longhorn fan. Certainly understand the concerns everyone has, but let the kid make his decision and don't dog him out for a switch that hasn't even occurred and hopefully won't occur.

Santos doesn't come across as a recruit who wants to be someones 2nd or 3rd choice which is exactly what he is for Texas. Guess we're going to find out soon.

I apologize for my outburst when it was known that Santos was visiting Texas..I calmed down last night quite a bit, but even moreso this morning.:hi:

The thing that pi$$es me off about this whole Texas ordeal is that they wait until 10 days b4 NSD to start recruiting him..That is total BS..Plus, they weren't even on his list of schools he was interested in..It would have been different had they been recruiting him for a long time..

I guess Mack Brown decided, "Hey why don't we go after that Santos kid that everyone in Tennessee loves just to pi$$ them off"..He sure enjoyed raiding our coaching staff last year..It;s not our problem that one of his commits backed out(or whatever happened there).:ermm:

Anyway, I'm over it and ready to move on to someone else..Any other possibilities?

When did the NCAA put in a clause that disallows you from recruiting a kid if you started late?

I wouldn't take it so personally. I highly doubt Texas is doing this just to piss UT off...

If Texas had been recruiting me hard for a long time, I had been comitted for months, Tennessee basically paid no attention and offered 2 weeks before signing day because they missed on someone........ I would tell them to kiss my a$$... Probably more in the form of, "Thanks but no thanks". That's just me though.. Not to mention my word means a lot to me.. I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn like that... Everybody has got to do what they.think is right...
