This made me think of a question I have been meaning to ask. When I make me eggs for breakfast, I only use the whites ( I have never eaten the yolks lol). I was told instead of tossing them I could put them in individual snack size bags then put them in a freezer bag and freeze them. What could I use all those yolks in? I eat two whites every morning, so thats 14 yolks a week that I would have no idea what to do with. Any help with those little slimy yellow eyeballs is greatly appreciated :)

How did you make your Hollandaise? :)

CitrusCoVol said Mayo. Agree

Key Lime freakin pie!!!

Wash your hair.

Creme Burlee.

French Toast.........

It would be easier for you to put each yolk in an ice tray with a pinch of salt (small pinch), freeze them then put them in a zip lock. Obviously, easier for a recipe.

Thanks. I just moved to the Wesley Chapel area and he's got tons of room to run now. He's loving life.

You are not far from RV and I now. We live just off of 52. We outta hook up during football season for some tail gates VOLMAN! We could have doggie play dates while tipping back a few.:birgits_giggle:

thats a whole lotta uses for yolks :). This is rough measurements, the only certain amts is the butter and yolks lol

1 stick salted butter
2 or 3 tbsp flour
2 cups milk ( I used 1 cup milk, 1/2 heavy cream, 1/2 water, but thinned it a little more with some milk during cooking)
4 yolks,
about 4 tbsp lemon juice,
little bit of salt and a little red pepper

I melted the butter and cooked the flour in it a bit, added the salt and pepper , then I beat the egg yolks into the milk water mixture, added the lemon juice to that, Then put it in the roue. I whisked it over a low/medium heat till it was done. I like I said, I got it a little thick and added more milk to thin it a little. How do you make yours?

It's really baffling to me. Behr has 4 really good Dog friends here. A female Brindle Pit Bull 3 yrs old, a male Akita 10 yrs old, a male shi tzu 4 yrs old and a Chocolate Chihuahua 3 yrs old. He has never had an issue with any of them nor they him, not even the first meeting.

He has been introduced to two other Goldens, one female about 6 and a male around 5 (Behr is 7). Both the Goldens wanted to fight him. We tried several times for an hour or so, they just didn't want to have anything to do with him. It's really weird.

I was being sarcastic....you asked for uses of the yolks and I wondered what you made the Hollandaise with.:p

He would have no trouble with Rocki and Topper, but Cooper will want to bite his back leg and try to tackle him. (pig dogs, what can you do?) He's pretty good though, we are taking all 3 to "Bark at the Beach" this Saturday at Pine Island. About 75 plus dogs there each time and we have had no trouble except the time when I was bitten by a Doberman on the thigh. Go figure.

I wasn't trying to reel you in FD, I thought you would get it that's why I put a smiley at the end of the question.

VIF. He has never had a problem with any dog. Every dog he has come in contact with including the two Goldens, he acts like they are long lost family. Even when a dog tries to snap at him or actually attacks him, he just lays down.....he is NO fighter. Total puss.

We usually avoid the aggressive dogs at the beach because the owners are usually d-bags and the girls don't like those dogs anyway. I think ours would be just fine together.

He's "fixed" but I promise he would try to have a threesome...and bring them both back to his wicker dog bed. Haha.

VIF. I didn't see a web site on Bark at the Beach. Where is it on Pine Island?
They changed the name to Bark Island now.

Oh, thought if it were on Pine Island I might make a trip up there, not far from here.

Yeah well, you originally said at Pine Island, not Pine Island drive. Shat, there are at least 4 "Pine Island drives" within a 5 mile radius from here.
