It has to be that brand too, I've tried some generic brands and they were not even close.

yes, there is a restaurant here in town that uses one with a yellow top. seemed awfully runny and not nearly as good. by the way, tabasco is a no-go at my house. cholula or sriracha only.

No, you are not dying. You are already dead according to Sly, he's trying to get a recipe from me on how best to prepare you.

That sucks, but was it the ham that killed me?

And how long will I last in the fridge before Sly must throw me out?

this one is my favorite -

· 1 pkg of cream cheese, softened at room temp
· 2C sharp cheddar
· 1C Frank’s Red Hot
· 4C roasted chicken with or without skin, shredded
· Bake @ 350° for 45 minutes

i had no idea they put cheddar in there. that made my stomach growl

some call for it, some don't. just like some call for ranch or blue cheese dressing

You can do a lot of things with that buffalo dip, Kev likes cheddar, I think Volly likes Blue cheese, my neighbors like Ranch.

The last I made was..

Cream Cheese (Philadelphia)
Franks Red Hot
Fresh Blue Cheese crumbles
Kens Blue cheese dressing
Grilled Chicken breast
Fresh Garlic
Parmesan cheese

I heated the Franks, garlic and Parmesan first into a really tasty sauce, then added the cream cheese until it was all melted (I stirred that around twice....haha Volly). Then added the dressing. I let it it simmer on low heat until it started to bubble, then add the chicken. I covered the top with the Blue Cheese crumbles and baked it.

It was awesome until I F'd it up the next day. Go figure, I added Sriracha to it. It didn't mix well with Frank and became a Really hot mess.

I should have known better, but oh well.

Ok behr, I need a good chicken fried rice recipie...thanks.

I told Kat the other day. The key to Fried Rice is using leftover rice at least a day old. Using fresh cooked rice will give you a big bunch of sticky crap.

After that it's whatever you want in it. If you have a wok, that works best but I don't have one so I use a Black iron skillet.

Heat some sesame oil and soy sauce then throw the rice in. That's the basics.

My computer or VN is having problems.

BearCat. I like Chicken Teriyaki with grilled pineapple, asparagus and water chestnuts with fried rice. Maybe add some mushrooms, preferably shiitake. Al little sriracha would work mixed in the Teriyaki sauce or just add in the rice.

I cheat with teriyaki sauce, I don't use it enough to keep all of the ingredients to make it.

Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce. (Not La Choy)
Pineapple juice
Pickled ginger
Sesame seeds

He should have thrown you out at least a week ago. Cooked ham wrapped tightly and kept refrigerated officially is good for only 4-5 days.....I have no problem keeping it a week, but after that it needs to go.

RV is making a big deal about this being Coop's first Christmas. I don't argue with Momma. Besides, as many pics as she takes, Cooper would have been in the Christmas pictures last year.

Can't wait for next Christmas... It will be Rocki's first Christmas. She will be so excited to have her first again!!!:birgits_giggle:

I will send her an email and get an answer tonight.! gotta run.:eek:k:

My computer has been fighting the flu.. So, I don't have a tried and true for the balls O' sausage, but my coiusin makes them by:
frying their plain little balls in a skillet.
let them cool
shape leftover mashed potatoes over the plain cooked sausage balls
roll in panko
deepfry

:dance2:

Curious if Hman cooked his standing roast the way I suggested and if so, how it turned out.

Curious if BearCat made that salad last night.....and/or the fried rice.

Curious if Thrasher has the shat's after eating that 2 week old ham.

Curious about RV and VIF showing up tonight.

Curious If Dani Behr wants to..........
