I tell you what stupid is. Stupid is posting we should go after Mark Dantonio because we could get him for what we pay Dooley since he only makes $650,000.00 at Michigan State. Do you really think a school like Michigan State would be paying a coach that has won 21 games in two years that little? Fyi Dantonio made a little over 1.3 million last year and a little over 1.8 million this year

we had a veteran team in 2005 and a rb that rushed for more than 200 yards and a couple of touchdowns in that game. fulmer still blew it. that was a very very bad loss.

not to mention gaither,stewart, hefney,mahelona,mcbride,harrell and i forget who else on defense.

That Vandy team would have been this KY team by 3 tds going away.

Glad we can see eye to eye on at least one thing :hi: I like your opinion, just have lost all faith in this staff after the abysmal showing last game. Well, offensive staff plus HC. I really like our defensive staff.

If you think Bray and Hunter being out did not affect the run game you have some issues. Up until that point even though he wasn't burning up the world Poole was averaging nearly 90 yards a game. Every place you pointed out regression outside of special teams was affected by the injuries/boots. Actually when you throw in the JJ boot and Lathers/Brewer injuries and yes special teams were affected.

The fact we improved in other areas in spite of the injuries shows the coaches were doing a lot more coaching than people give them credit for. The fact the O-line improved so much in pass blocking and seemingly regressed in run blocking is still a mystery and honestly I believe it was the sprint draw crap and that should be scrapped totally. In that type of blocking scheme you want a totally different type of lineman than we have. You need quick agile guys for running draws. We have road graders. They should be blowing folks up not pulling.

Every issue we had this year is fixable in the offseason.

Earth to you, the run game sucked before Hunter went down. Check out the ypc before Hunter went down and compare it to after. Not much difference.
