Lots of hostile

I got a Stratos 21 with 225 ho.. I would like to go cross eye one some time if you want. Im a tourney fisherman and Love Douglas Lake.

i fish tournaments when i can. fish the usa bassin some. i dont get to fish nearly as much as i want.

I have a Scout Sportfish 172 and its SLLLOOOOOWWW. And I'd be fairly surprised if anyone on here was very familiar with them...

All I want to see is improvement. If we look like a team ready to play each game for 60 minutes, I'm good with that.

I would have been good with that this year. Next year, not so much. I want wins against quality SEC rivals. I will be content if we are 4-1 five games in, and I will take them ugly as long as we come out with the W.

No hostility here; just expectations for results next year and the bar set a little higher than the 7-6 I had hoped would mark progress this year. But I'm more than willing to have the aforementioned fun skeeter promised. :clapping:

I'm all in for the positive vibe. I've been behind CDD since day 1, but I'm of the opinion NOW that he's lost at least some control over this situation. Imo, if he doesn't do something drastic to get things on track 2012 will be less than we want it to be and CDD will be pretty much done.

Skeet- Do you think CJC is the right guy to continue leading this offense? Will the players play for him? Will they play for Dooley any more? Is CJC the offensive master mind that some have made him out to be?

I like CJC from his post practice interviews and what not, but I'm not thinking he's the right guy any more. I want CDD to succeed here, but I'm hanging on to that bandwagon by my fingernails. Wilcox is starting to look like the guy that I would like to see replace Dooley if things go that way. fwiw

i think we see a little different offense next year. its not fair for me to say whether i think cjc is the right man for the job or not. if you go back and look at coaches that has to rebuild a program, usually the 3rd year is when you see the big jump.

We were awesome in punt and kick coverage (minus the Arky game).

Poole ran well against LSU and Bama, better than any other back in the sec, when Simms was qb.

Passing O- We lost Tyler Bray, Justin Hunter, Gerald Jones, Luke Stocker, and D Moore. What do you expect?

Rushing O- Bad, but would of been better with Simms

Total O- Same as above, we lost Bray and Hunter, along with those other guys

Rushing D- We held Spencer Ware, Trent Richardson, and Crowell to under 100 yards. We made Bama pass the ball on us, we definitely got better in that area.

Turnovers- We lost Janzen, PWagg playing out of position, 4 true freshmen playing, lost are leader in Reveiz

Sacks- We didn't do much worst than last year, You forget we play in a run dominated league. Definitely needs to get better though. Got alot better when Mo Couch came along.

TFL- Got alot better once Mo Couch came along, we were using Hood to stop the inside runs.

Punting- Terrible

Punt D- Misleading, you take away the one return and it is very very good

Penalties- New qbs do snap counts differently which causes confusion from the oline. It wouldn't of been as bad if Bray never got hurt.

My points weren't opinions. Pure statistical facts.

All I see is excuses.

See bolded

They were decent when Simms was qb. Look at game vs Bama and LSU.

Dooley likes to run and prefers two tight end sets. He still would of gotten a lot of looks if he was capable enough last year, which he wasnt.

Wilcox only had 3 bad games, and 2 were from fatigue, one was Arky matching extremely well with our dbs.

Bray wasn't titled that at all in the preseason, he was considered a gunslinger that was very wild. They had Auburn's qb ahead of him. Auburn's qb doesn't even start anymore.

It was actually asthma, and he still was very underwhelming in summer practices and was considered overhyped by alot people when he got there. Malik Jackson even threw some shots at him.

Austin Johnson led the teams in picks too.....

Just wondering who did deserve the job?
Well i'd say no one at the time(interim). No use rehashing it though. We have to play this thing out now. If it's not a big jump and i don't think minimal will do it. We'll be on the coach hunt again.

Oh and skeeter my best shots are Patron and Herradura tequila...which do you prefer?

So Dooley can either have a decent running offense or a good passing offense, he can't have both?

Rivera saw tons of action last year, he rarely caught passes because they all went to Stocker. Rivera is still a mediocre (at best) blocker.

Wilcox did the best he could given what he had. He's not a problem.

I'm sorry some dumbass writer picked an unproven QB over a guy that broke several long standing records in 6 games.

He sprained his knee too. Asthma isn't something you magically cure.

Austin is a good athlete. There aren't too many Vols with a receiving TD and several INTs in their careers here.
