Still waiting for Hatevol

Its a team sport, rarely can one player win a game by himself. No doubt if Manning had been drafted by the Patriots instead of the colts he would have won more already.

Same is true for Marino if he had been playing for the Niners instead of the Dolphins. Elway won Super Bowls at the end of his career when Denver was mainly a running team, and he had lost velocity on his throws. That was not his prime.
you do realize he was the MVP of the last one right? it wasn't like he sucked or something...
oh wow. sorry, didn't know we were only shooting for SEC East supremacy. guess that's the problem. i know the SEC East Championship means nothing. tell me what bowl did the sec east champions get that year?
it means nothing on it's own yes. claiming an East Division title is not going to sway anyone. but the SEC E is the 1st priority on the list....cause you can't get to the bigger prize with out doing that first. so in essence, it IS the most important.

just like spurrier used to say...priorities were, in order of importance:
Win the East
Win the Conf.
hopefully we've put ourselves in postion to play in a big game after that.

can't do either of the last two w/out the first one.

I'll break it down in simple terms, IE. I
don't know if it can be made elementary enough for you to comprehend, but the effort will be made. I love when you try to call predictions lies. I never said you had previously posted that the program would fail if Fulamanure were shown the door. I was simply extrapolating the mouthbreathing, mindless homer babble you've been expousing on Fulamanure's behalf in this thread to its next logical point. Also, you accuse people of hating UT and then liken trying to explain something to them to talking to brick. Then, when the heat gets turned back on you, it's a personal attack. As to the idea of the Cotton Bowl not being a mid tier bowl, the Big 12 generally sends their third or fourth best team there and the SEC does likewise. That makes it what it is, an irrelevant game between middle of the pack teams.

Heat's never on me brotha. It's all good.

I misinterpreted you posting:
"IE will tells us all how competitive we were in those games and how the program will collapse into utter ruination if Phillip the Messiah were not in charge."

I didn't realize this is what you meant:
"I was simply extrapolating the mouthbreathing, mindless homer babble you've been expousing on Fulamanure's behalf in this thread to its next logical point."

Go Vols.

If you couldn't recognize that as a prediction, not some proclamation of fact, you obviously haven't gotten as much out of your UT education as most of us have.

The Dan are always good for derailing a runaway freight train.
Why would you derail the train. That's some of the best entertainment here. Watching a reasonably intelligent guy who is accustomed to reasoning with comparably intelligent folks trying to debate with someone out of Deliverance is as entertaining as it gets.

Please do elaborate on who is cast in each of your roles, just so I know where I stand with you.

I consider all bowls (except that new one prior to the NC game) in the new year as upper tier. The ones between Christmas and New Year are medium. And the pre-Christmas bowls are crap.

These days, anything other than a BCS bowl is mediocre. Like it or not, that's the standard of success now. The BCS has devalued that whole second tier of bowls even further.

That said, ALL of the pre-New Year's Day bowls are crap.

which is why the Big 10 Commish touting his conference's record is laughable, at best.
