Severe Weather Thread

We should expect periods of heavy rain late this afternoon and tonight

The approaching cold front will begin to steer Lee more towards the north/northeast.

Most of Tennessee should see significant rainfall, with the heavest rain in middle and east tennessee(OWH will be happy)

The mini-hurricane at the game last night notwithstanding, we need this rain in Knoxville. Hopefully the flooding won't be too severe though.

Yeah, we just got done with 3days of rain and wind and have now sent it on up the road to you guys.

Incredibly no limbs fell, our power stayed on, and I got to watch the game on espn3.com (even if they do hate us).:loco:

Giddy until power went out last night from high winds.

Thunderstorms will start to develop ahead of the cold front pushing into the West Tennessee area over night and into the early morning. The storms may produce locally heavy rain and some gusty winds. May even see a severe storm here and there, but the conditions are not favorable for any tornadic storms. Middle and East Tennessee should begin seeing the storms tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night. We should see a good soaking rain from this system

doesn't look daunting, but rain is rain. I'll take it.

Sorry guys, I've just got out of the deer woods. Weather pushed me out. We could see some bad weather in West TN, N. Miss. this evening. I almost got blown out of my climber the winds were gusting so high , so I had a feeling this was going to happen.

Keep an eye out tonight

Well, I'm at work so I can access VN, but we had about 6 inches of snow on Saturday and have been without power since then. This was the first real October snow storm in central PA since 1972 and the worst since 1925. So, for the year, we've had minor effects from an earthquake and hurricane, then an epic flood and now an October snow. What is next?
