Yes, it's normal. IIRC our staff was on the road visiting recruits just about every week in the fall, even on Fridays and Saturday mornings.

Very nice article on O'Brien on gvx247. O'Brien credits Sirmon as a coach he really identifies with. Funny statement from his mom about wanting him to be put in at tight end (!) on his HS team because he has "really good hands." Mom loves UT's entire staff. Danny plans to announce at his homecoming pep rally on 10/7.

He spreads some love to his top 4, UT, Bama, UM and MichSt, but I still got the impression that UT is the team to beat.

Sounds alot like the way the DJ situation went down. Everyone was pointing to a future visit as a reason he was a lock. Guess we can hope this one goes our way.

I try to stay as objective as possible in recruiting but two things stand out, Mom loves the coaches and hes said several times he wants to come for the LSU game, and hes announcing the weekend before.

Sure he could cancel the visit but I dont see him committing anywhere without catching a game in Neyland first.
