Let me first state, that I'm not looking forward to losing CBP. That said, keeping him would do serious damage to UT athletic program. The University of Tennessee is bigger than CPF and CBP. The NCAA will hit us harder if we decide to keep CBP period. If, what I heard was true, the decision already was made last December after he failed to report a bump contact four days after his Mea Culpa confession, which was discovered by an attorney specializing in NCAA investigations, hired by UT to save CBP. I'm going to miss CBP and the success he brought here, but the integrity of the University is a more important issue. I also heard that that we will escape football sanctions because Hamilton hired someone to keep an eye on Kiffin and reported the violation with the hostess gate situation. I also heard that Hamilton had a lot of dirt on Kiffin he kept in his back pocket. He knew he had a rogue coach who was likely to get us on probation. Yes, I think it was a big mistake breaking the news about CBP a day before the NCAA Tournament. I'm not sure why he decided to do that or it was simply a mistake on his part but he needed to lay the foundation for the dismissal of CBP.

Ok...this is it and I'm done.

I understand coach Dickey isn't our ad anymore.Right now it's Hamilton.Who has he hired?Coach Pearl,coach Kiffen,coach Raleigh,coach Dooley.So far there's only one person in that group thats competed for championships....coach Pearl.Two were/are disasters.Coach Dooley we're in a wait and see mode...although I hope and beleive he'll eventually get us back.

My oppinion is that we would be best off weathering ncaa storm and stick with Bruce....aint gonna change.

Yaw have fun...I'll see ya on the other side of this clusterbammer.

FACT: Pearl lied to investigators when asked about the minor violation.

FACT: The NCAA does not like being lied to.

FACT: Pearl will be suspended for at least one year and most likely 2.

That enough facts for ya, pal. Winning.

Yeah, basketball is officially dead now. A huge arena and all the Pearl lovers will quit going to the games. This will allow the true basketball fans plenty of seat options.

i think all those "facts" are well known, what's your point? i haven't been one of these ppl who are saying that they want bruce to stay, nor have i been one to say that i want him out. is that ok PAL? i see what you did there

Says the guy trying to pass off Kentucky football as anything nearing relevancy. They are a basketball school. We are a football school. Not sure why it's hard to understand that.

There is a difference in tickets sold and gate attendance. I believe the number you reference is tickets sold - the preferred number for Kentucky football fans.

Kentucky is top rated for attendance in basketball in the NCAA. Guess where they rank in football.
