You keep saying that you know this for fact, but unless you were there and actually heard what was said your just like the rest of us and has either heard it via rumor or your just assuming that it is right. You may very well be right, but I can't tell you how many times I have read on here where someone proclaims that they are absolutely right about something only to be made a fool of.

How do you know this as being fact?

I don't think any names have been officially confirmed yet, but somebody threw out GJ name way back at the beginning of the thread and a few other people who seem to have knowledge on the subject certainly didn't dispute Jones being one of the people involved. I think somebody also said that Hubbs has all but confirmed that TT was using former UT players to convince Gabe Wright not to come to Knoxville, but he hasn't gone so far as mention any former players by name yet.

why in the hell would someone make up this story about Benedict Jones? Have faith. If we don't believe everything we are told then Jesus must be made up to.

I have mixed emotions.

My initial thoughts are anger, not only because that seems very disrespectful but also because it's completely idiotic. I hope he got a degree in a valuable major with a high GPA, because he's not going to the NFL without a pro day, and there isn't going to be many alumni or fans ready to give him a job based off being a UT player.

But if I try to put in perspective that if potential high school students were asking me about UT, I would answer them honestly. If there are some facets or experiences at UT that lead me to believe another school is better, I would tell them that. Because you don't want to give bad advice to a young person for such an important decision. So if GJ feels like a recruit would be more successful elsewhere, he has every right to give that advice. But he shouldn't do it while he's still on scholarship here. And Trooper should not be using former players from other schools to negatively recruit. Both are highly unethical.

It makes perfect sense. He's an absolute garbage human being and many people have known that for a long time now. He's a loser.

Also, he's not going to the NFL because he's under 6 ft tall and slower than Christmas.

I think everyone in the SEC agrees that the BARN is running a very DIRTY program. Just a matter of time til the hammer falls. TIFWIW, I really like Dooley, I think you guys got a good one in him.
