BREAKING NEWS: Janzen Jackson withdraws from school. (merged)

he signed with Kiffin and Kiffin wanted him. Kiffin ran several of fulmer recruits so any he kept he did so because he wanted them. thus a Kiffin recruit.

so let's copyright the phrase ful-fin recruit.

kiffin and co. is like a freaking earthquake, gone, but still aftershocks

Perhaps some time in the future, we Tennessee fans will go more than a few days without a disturbing piece of bad news.

I live for that future.

If you've been following the rumors here, this is hardly surprising. Quite possibly this is why DD signed more DB's than many of us could make sense of.

Coach Dooley always said we would " prepare as we did not have him." Signing that many DB's was a forecast to this problem.

I'm thinking more like getting drunk at a party and sleeping with some strange tramp. In your delirium you think you're having the time of your life... shoot, you might even marry this great gal... only to wake up with a herpes infection that just keeps on coming back to cause more pain.

It hurts to get news that your best player (and he is the best player on this team) is leaving school. Sorry, but it's hard not to be upset about that.

....I don't know about anyone else, but it's kinda hard for me to be upset about this in February. If you paid any attention to what is posted here, Janzen has always been on shaky ground.

He's a good player and I hope he comes back with his head on straight, but right now it's an opportunity for someone else to step up.

Darn you got me. I'd take Justin Hunter over him easily. Bray will also prove to be worth more although it is a little unfair because QB is the most critical position on the field.

lol. Ok. I love both Hunter and Bray's potential, but if you think they are as good as JJ right now you're delusional. JJ is a first team all SEC lock next year.

That's right. He is the one that put his foot down and took over punt return duties, right?

What on earth does that have to do with anything? I don't recall seeing Hunter or Bray returning punts either. They also didn't fill in at DT, so they must suck.

Hunter did return a couple punts this year

Hunter is a spectacular athlete that can actually play football. Bray played exceptional as a true freshman at the most difficult position on the field. I'd take both of them before Jackson if I were drafting a team from the current Vol roster.
