Um hello, we all get drunk as F&*k during that game. That's the only way we're able to make it through it :)

Soccer's still enjoyable and interesting without beer


Sitting through a baseball game sober and you realize how boring of a sport it is....even Homer Simpson's pointed that one out :p

I agree, baseball has been entertaining for me only when drinking and playing drinking games.

germany/ghana coming up. hopefully the former pulls out a victory.

i know i should be happy that we won today and just be thankful for that, but i really don't want anything to do with germany in the round of 16.

the only thing that irks me about baseball is the number of games on the schedule. i'm a braves fan so i keep up with it, but with that many games on the schedule it's easy to lose an interest every now and again.

I've always wondered if it's been hurt because of the slow pace and absolute lack of a time frame

I went to a game that started off once with the pitcher throwing to try to get the guy out at 1st 5 times in a row

and it's easy for them (a team) to lose interest in that specific game they're playing having any importance

Basically, we want someone to win this game. A tie means that only one outcome of the Serbia/Aussie game is beneficial to our missing Germany.

But if Ghana and Germany tie that puts Ghana with 5pts. Germany with 4 points. And you have to believe that Serbia will beat an Australian team a man short.

Serbia 6pts
Ghana 5pts
Germany goes home and we can get revenge on Ghana for 06.
