I’m watching the Texas v ASU game right now.
If we end up playing Texas, they are well coached.
If one of their batters has 2 strikes on them, they
put a bat on any pitch that is close. NO watching
a called third strike.

That’s my kind of at-bat. Never, ever, EVER watch a third strike. Keep your eyes open, see the ball, and just make contact. I’d rather a player chase and miss a ball seriously out-of-strike-zone than to watch a strike go by. I’m a broken record! Take me off the turntable! 😅

Maybe it's just me, but LV's seem to take one or two fastballs right down the middle of the plate
then swing at a third strike in the dirt or over their head. Need a better approach at the plate
to improve the offensive efficiency. I'm sure our pitching staff would appreciate 4 or 5 runs
rather than 2 or 3. Too much pressure on the pitching staff imo.

This hitting coach needs to go. Oklahoma's ENTIRE TEAM batting average is .390. Texas is .343. We are at .288. Coaching matters.

Alright so looking at other softball forums someone on reddit noticed that Kassidy pickering took OU softball off her bios and is posting everything about Texas Tech. Another account said that tech has a pitcher lined up already from a team still in the tournament. It better not be Newer or Saige

She has already signed an NIL agreement with Tennessee for next year, so I would be very surprised. That would have to be bought out by TTU and Tennessee would have to agree to let her out of it, which I don’t think is realistic. She is also set to be one of the faces of Tennessee’s Adidas rollout, don’t think that opportunity would have been awarded to her if there had not already been some certainty about next year.

Karen will not let this slide if the try and poach another one of our players nor should she. Texas Tech keeps this up and eventually somebody is gonna land them in some hot water. God I really hope we can see them at some point in OKC cause f@@k Glasco and his program

Pannell didn't have a signed contract with the university last year, either.

Sure, anyone could leave. But there's a buyout attached to that now. And if there's tampering when a contract is in place, it's not just a toothless NCAA trying to pursue it.

I'll be very interested to see what Texas Tech's offseason looks like. I'm sure the money they will have to spend will attract a few pieces, but the visceral reaction toward them in the softball world has many players with overwhelmingly negative feelings about that program. If they hadn't made the WCWS, that house of cards may well have collapsed completely.
