More Climate BS...

You: “prove it”

Me: “here’s the latest inter-agency, multi-national climate report compiled by thousands from multiple disciplines”

You: “it’s a hoax”

I know you won’t digest any of that information, nor refute it, because you can’t. It’s easier to respond with cynicism and hyperbole. Less reading and thinking… I get it man.
I did refute it and gave references of my position. Here is some of the easiest to understand.

The planet has been warming in a general trend since between 20,000 and 26,000 years ago. We've had mini-ice ages, decades of warmer weather, etc.

Fifty years ago, it was another ice age coming. If global temperatures begin to fall, those fears will come back. Predicting the end of the world has been the real constant for the last several thousand years. No matter what is going on, the world is ending any day now.
Yup, and throughout history; humans have tried all kinds of stupid and tragic methods to appease the weather gods. Throwing a Virgin into a volcano worked about as well as banning fossil fuels FWIW.

Never was terrified of the global warming stuff anyway. So we start growing cotton in Nebraska and have orange groves in Clarksdale, MS. Big deal. There is a strong argument we are the most adaptable species on the planet.

The climate is in constant flux, show me the proof that man is causing it. It has been much warmer historically than now. The only way to make money off it is the green 🐂 💩. Find me a climate scientist that is not on the payroll who says different.
My post literally said, "I am not certain of anything" in regards to why it is changing"

Well I can tell you certainly that it is not because of CO2. The real problem is that people form definite opinions on subject they no squat about.
The people who know are in one of two camps. Those making their living off the climate change hoax and the honest scientists.

I have friends who are scientists that disagree with your take and none of them are being paid for their opinion. You claimed you were a physicist awhile back. Where did you get your PhD

The little ice age was over around 1850. I don't live on a flat island but those who do may well be worried.
You know in areas with big droughts, or where they dam existing water ways its pretty common to find old settlements that were buried by the water right? Even going back to the previous full ice age. man kind has dealt with shifting coastlines as long as there has been a mankind.

what you are describing is more of an "us" problem rather than a "environment" problem. Maybe if we didn't build cities over arable land, didn't build beach houses on every coast, waterway, or lake, we wouldn't have nearly as many "environment" issues.

Why? Do really think the money people would be investing in coastal properties if their was any validity to rising oceans? The people who know are putting the money on the fact that climate change is 🐂 💩.

This exactly correct. There are reasons that places have not been built on for eons.

Facts. Those virgins didnt cost me a dime, either. The Climate Change Grift has cost us all thousands, ruined cars, trucks,.commercial equipment etc and needlessly worried and stressed millions upon millions of impressionable kids and Liberals. Complete and utter BS and thankfully people are finally getting tired of it.

Here's the thing: the internet is forever. So while memories fade, all the "sky is falling, we will all be under water in 10years" BS can only be wrong for so many decades in a row before people are tired of the bullcrap. Its a classic "Boy who cried wolf" scenario. Yet the Lefties on here and elsewhere will shriek about it until the day the die. Of something entirely unrelated to the climate. The rest of us are tired of the nonsense.

What facts in the report, specifically, does this refute?
The earth has actually been cooling for about a decade. We are probably heading into a decade or more of colder temps. The climate change hoax is an industry that rival the magnitude of the oil industry.

My point is that the climate is indeed warming and has been for quite a while. I made that point because @OrangeTsar indicated that he doesn't think that it is.
Yes I think we all know about the sea level's fluctuations over time. And if I lived on a flat island I would still be worried. Very many who do are.
