LOL you clearly never worked LE if you think working OT is a big scandal...also you straight up lied since the article itself mentions that no wrongdoing was done with the OT...."internal affairs" didn't dive in on anything, it was a reporter trying to dig up dirt

Not necessarily, there is a LOT of needed OT to be had due to most police agencies (especially in big cities) struggling with retirement/short staffing/lack of qualified candidates.

Not only that you can make tons of money at OT doing either special assignments, security assignments or filling in for regular officers and it isn't a scam

I would find that interesting. I was in near a movie studio the other day and saw tons of cops pulling the OT (cars lights on)..most were asleep.

When I hear about one of the employees in my organization caught sleeping, 9 times out of 10 I have them terminated.

Ok did you report them to complain?
What was their status and assignments?

And sometimes doing assignments on the interstate for example means they sit in their cars for 3 hours straight with their lights on doing nothing but warning cars about construction or some such thing.

Plus you realize that just because you see officers doing something in Podunk Cityville, doesn't account for all police everywhere right?

It was Atlanta bro. And no I didn't report them. I don't live there so not my problem. I just noticed it. I'm not on a "Fraud crusade" like MAGA, desperate for a win. My win today was scoring a Vector LVPO with 10x mag for under $1k.

I watched the video of the young lady and she was obviously there blocking agents with other whistle blowing protestors. No idea when people will learn if they seek trouble they shall likely find it.
If she had to be somewhere she had a clear path and road ahead but chose not to move after being told to by agents and even protestors for more than a minute with cars stacked up behind her.
TBH if she’s truly disabled with a traumatic brain injury and autistic I have doubts she should be driving in the first place and shouldn’t be if unable to follow simple directions to “move” and “go”.

Few seconds later another guy, who we thought was a police officer, chasing the other dude. He got closer and we realized he was an ICE agent. 5 of the contractors employees took off running, somewhat in the same direction as the guy in the field. The officer asked the owner to tell his guys to stop running, that he isn't after workers unless they're criminals. He let's his guys know over the radio and one of his employees tackles the first guy and holds him down until the officer arrests him.

He was being chased and arrested for beating his wife. The ICE officer thanked the owner and his guys and told them to go through the process to become a legal citizen and went on about his way. I know, Cool story bro....

Agree there are laws in this State that prohibit the hiring of illegal immigrants, but are seldom enforced. Of course, when the entire HR Dept is ran by immigrants of the same country, it creates a bigger problem. Who is in charge of it all, the owner.
