It’s called posturingSuggesting blatant war crimes. How the f*** are you going to blow up desalinization plants, i.e. civilians' source of water in a desert, and still have people like MAD posting 20 times a day about how we're doing this because we love the Iranian people so much

Those are reasons that the USA is responsible for this war? Wasn’t that the question you asked?1- Operation Ajax
2-US Support for Iraq during the war
3 US support for the Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon.
4- Multiple operations and killings in Iranian soil by Mossad of Iranian nuclear scientists
5 The US invasion of Iraq which created a refugee crisis in Iran
6 The labeling of Iran as a terror threat while not only ignoring the Saudis but continuing to support them
7 the continued occupation of the West Bank by Israel/ despite international rulings that its illegal
8 continued military aid to Israel
9 Trumps decision to leave the nuclear deal
10 current strikes against the regime/some of which border on war crimes
This is by no means an exhaustive list. It’s also not meant to imply that the Iranians don’t bear blame. Also for what it’s worth, there are Jewish enclaves in Iran that have been around since before Islam. Maybe before Jesus. Persians don’t by default hate Jews. The majority of them despise the modern day incarnation of the Nation of Israel.
as opposed to poonturding when you f up an afgahnistan evacuationIt’s called posturing… damn man
Posturing refers to
behavior, speech, or attitudes deliberately adopted to impress, mislead, or influence others, often appearing insincere or artificial. It is frequently used to project strength, confidence, or a specific image to gain an advantage or evoke fear, rather than reflecting genuine feelings or intent.
It’s become a really crappy situation all around. No good outcome and only made things worseUnfortunately, just leaving may be the best we can salvage at this point for ourselves and for the world. If the alternative is a protracted ground war with no well-defined, achievable, and moral objective, sign me up for just leaving. [EDIT: All the more as we have - and will have - no congressional declaration of war.]

We dont need to be conducting airstrikes on Iran or anyone else right now. I love Israel and support defending them at all times from attacks, but if Israel wants there to be airstrikes on Iran...they need to fly those sorties themselves. We can provide intelligence if needed, and sell them munitions IMO...but they need to do this themselves if they want it done. We cannot afford another war, and Americans dont want another war. That is one thing that nearly all Trump supporters liked. The fact that he is the only president in my lifetime to not go to war or attack any new countries.
Not surprised you came aroundwe may need to put boots on the ground long enough to destroy this place.
Blowing up civilian sources of water and power doesn't project "strength" at allIt’s called posturing… damn man

We should not have started this. We should not be fighting this. We’ve only made it worse. And everyone knew before it happened that we don’t have the testicular fortitude to fight this fight (or any fight) the way it needs to be fought to actually win it. And everyone knew before. As you said, with any functioning brain cells knew that already. You know the actual answer.
Everyone with a functioning brain knows it would be an absolute meat grinder, and based on our "strategy" so far it seems our military is more interested in throwing everything over the wall rather than accomplishing any actual objective.
So again, you know the actual answer. Put boots on the ground, as long as it ain't me or mine!
