I don’t agree with us attacking Iran but can you elaborate on what other methods could be used to take out Iran without using weapons?

Other methods available....convert operations. Lower risk---with less commitment and use of US forces.

You don't have to go full blown showmanship to accomplish/fulfill the same End state.

Less risk without full blown combat.

I think it will be a big (dare I say yuuuuge) deal on whether this becomes a "boots on the ground" thing or not. If we just help with an internal change with some targeted strikes it will be viewed (and certainly spun) differently.

Much easier to convince a plurality of Americans that bombing is justified. First image of a coffin draped in a US flag comes home and all of that changes instantly.

I don't think we'll see boots on the ground, unless Stephen Miller gets his hands on Trump's sharpie. Judging from Maduro, the Trump doctrine seems to be targeted operations and strikes to decapitate leadership. Then deal with what remains.

I’m not sure what to think of that, but I was surprised to see Schumer come out of a briefing this past week not pushing back on this. That surprised me.
