How about this…screw you. I did not advocate for war, I responded to a question that asked why should we care about the people of Iran. I have friends who are Iranian immigrants and I care what happens to the people of Iran. Whether that means advocating war was not the question on the table.

And here's the truth... I don't think Trump wants a war. He's got the attention of a gnat, so what he really wants is get in, blow up a bunch of ****, get out. Claim "HUGE" victory. No casualties.

I doubt regime change is possible without boots on the ground. And the nuclear program, well... I think the Iranians will just dig deeper and deeper until our bunker buster bombs can no longer affect their equipment.

Achieving either / both will cost us American blood. A lot of it.

Who here is ready to send their kids and grandkids to fight and potentially die in Iran... and over what?

What I don’t get is why this is any different than the situation with North and South Korea? I mean we have a brutal regime there with nuclear and missile capability and we aren’t lobbing missiles at them at the request of an ally in close proximity. I guess it’s because Trump and Kim are such good buds. It just looks hypocritical to me but maybe I’m missing something. Somebody enlighten me.

Not to defend Trump at all, but the only reason this hasn’t happened to North Korea yet is due to China. Iran doesn’t have any protectors like North Korea does, if it wasn’t for China the North Korean regime would’ve ceased to exist in 1950.

Your major point, thanks for pointing out a minor detail. My point is the mission can be accomplished covertly with less Forces and much less risks not only for the forces but Americans abroad. Bottom line: Walk quietly and carry a big Stick.

It makes no difference at this point, Trump's sideshow and overuse of force is a diversion to more election fraud or an attempt to cancel the elections. He probably has his finger on a nuke at this moment and will attempt to spin this mess of which was all created by Trump.

He is in hot water and knows it. He wants body bags so that America rallies to him. Distraction to Epstein files and the fact he is losing support.

Hail Mary pass. Desperate People take desperate actions. Trump is desperately trying to save his Presidency.
