That defense can't be remodeled. It will have to be burned down, bulldozed, the dirt under it dug up and taken to a hazardous waste facility, and completely rebuilt. Not sure that can be accomplished in one year.

Have an offense that isn't predictable and it never fails on that kid.

But it did fall on him and his only responsibility is to make field goals. All he has to do is make what should be a pedestrian field goal and the end of that game probably plays out differently.

Heupel isn’t a good enough coach to get us there at our talent level. His clock management and game awareness also leaves a lot to be desired.

Huge look in the mirror moment for him moving forward. Glad he had the awareness to change DCs.

Third time I've said this but they ikely couldn't have just run the clock out for a field goal as time expires. Our offense probably would have gotten another possession to end the game.

Without heavy investment in the portal we are headed towards 6 wins or so next yr. You can see it plain as day.

I dont think its warm, but I definitely think this is eye opening. You have to remember these bowls are meaningless. Practice for next year.

Why are our highly rated players not panning out? Why are we getting whipped at LOS?

With all the GLARING needs, why does it seem we are not in on any big names?

If Heupel doesnt come out guns blazing in this porthole, it will be a huge red flag.

Ouch. Time to flush this season, and we can be really good again in a couple years maybe. Next year will likely be not so great imo. Hopefully Heup can survive long enough to turn it around. We need immediate portal help though.

I don't like to be down on any VOL, but he kicks great when it's 45-0, but when the game is on the line he is not reliable.

I'm not convinced we need to go status quo with RG either. The DL likes to disappear a lot in big games. No one likes to acknowledge it. Idk if it's scheme or it's falling on deaf ears. Knowles should be able to replace anyone he wants. Not saying he doesn't want Rodney but we don't need to force it imo
