But if Gilbert makes that fg they couldn't have just run the clock out for the game ending field goal. Our offense probably could have gotten another possession at the end of the game.

Heupel needs to win big next year or he's on the hot seat.

The defense was bad tonight, to be expected. But Heupel's offense was crap as well. And the Illinois D coordinator told the commentators why. We heard it from USF fans when he was hired.

Hite a damn offensive coordinator get some fresh input on offense or go down with your ship. The D Coordinator can't be your scapegoat next year.

Part of the problem is we used to feel extremely daring and aggressive, but also undisciplined. Now we play extremely conservative, and just as undisciplined.

I agree but all Gilbert has to do is make a pretty average field goal and illinois couldn't do what they're doing right now.

Always undisciplined. 4 guys jumping after a TO where he spent the whole time arguing with refs versus coaching was stupid.

Joey didn't throw for 200 yards.

And Illinois had over 400 yards in total offense.

This team needs help going into next season.
