His mom essentially forged his signature on the NLI to ut, tough situation for him but best to let him go
You know, that is a very serious allegation.
If true, she could face possible legal consequences.
If not true, those who are making a false allegation could face possible legal consequences.

In my experience, Ohio State fans are the most arrogant, entitled, obnoxious fans on the planet.
I can confirm this is 100% accurate. I have family in Ohio (huge Vol fans, so they’re good ones), but every time we go to visit there’s always at least one OSU fan who sees my TN shirts/sweaters and has to make a comment—even before last year. It’s gross.

Do you respond in honorable hillbilly fashion and kick his ass?

My cousin’s ex-fiance (on of the biggest POS I’ve ever met) was a huge OSU guy. We went to the SC game several years back—the one where we beat them when they were ranked in Neyland and it was the first ranked win in a while—and the whole time he talked about how OSU did this better and that better. I wanted to throw him off the balcony by halftime.

He gone . . . When he turns 18. It seems when a kid loves UT . . . But the parents want another school, the player signs with the other school - and the reaction is “oh well / it happens.”

This happens the other way, and it’s one of the worst stories ever / how dare those parents go against his wishes.

Classic UT. Regardless, loss of Moi really hurts now.

OR…you’re falling for the troll job.

let's say this is true. mom and brother not happy about OSU....put the heat on.

this kid also has other representation to offer advice.

the easiest thing to do was just NOT sign on Wed. not obligated anywhere, and buys time. and if it's still not resolved by eob today, no biggie. sign in feb when you're 18 and you don't need mom or brother's help.

so while there's certainly a part of me that could totally see this being true...there's another part of that says "hold up.....this was the ONLY option he had available?"

i think the lack of clarity from anyone on TN or Bey's side of this lends me to believe there's some truth here, and i'd lean more toward him not being here than sticking with the class.

but there's still something about this that doesn't pass the smell test. he didn't have to sign Wed.....so where's the real pressure?

only thing i can figure is if we offered some time sensitive ultimatum big time NIL deal that was like "sign now, this is the deal or deals' off." which that would kinda suck.....and i would like that not to be the case.

doubtful we'll ever really know the whole truth. but i don't count on him being here next fall at this point.

I too would like to know what the hell is going on
you just have to wait, till someone reputable gives the story. people forget these are real humans. kid may be embarrassed or over whelmed. you never know, that's why 'Rest of the Story', needs to happen.

Kid may want out, he may not. He is a gamer, and very dynamic. Would hate to see him go. Will really help this team.

But in the end, we cant force him to be here. that would solve nothing. so in the end, all that matters is what's best for him.

Let's not. Let's wait and find out.

Callahan didn’t sound very optimistic on the most recent 247 podcast. They seem to be treating his desire to sign with Ohio State as a reality.

That really is probably the most confusing part to all of this, why not just wait to sign (even if February if you want?)

Potentially sounds like he made an emotional decision and didn't think his parents would let him go to OSU, and then realized he had other options he could've taken after signing

Just an all-around strange situation
