Matthews has 50 catches and over 750 yds this season. Yes he needs to clean up the drops, but he’s had a really good season. Plus, he’s a really good blocker on the outside as well.

I don’t think Danny would ever do that. He’s asked too much of the fanbase to ask them to take a year off next season. Would be forced to manufacture some excitement any way he could.

It would be absolutely disastrous for UT to lose Heupel at this point in the carousel. Heupel has his flaws but it would leave UT stuck between a rock and a hard place.

He’s literally the only coach that I would want to keep on the defensive side. If he is gone, might as well overhaul everyone.

It's a hot take but it needs to be overhauled period. We have a massive issue with our DL disappearing in big games, LBers who can't fill gaps and DBs who are constantly out of position. There needs to be new voices imo

Well, depending on the next few days, UT may have to dive heavy into the portal for a lot of the roster if many of the coaches go elsewhere before signing day.

They're gonna have to go heavy portal on defense anyway. Idk why people aren't more aware. Or they are and don't care. We have a bad defense that is losing almost every playmaker.

It's allowed me to be less invested in the results of the games. Not telling anyone else how to feel. People interpret that sometimes as me being less of a fan or whatever because I'm not in the game threads posting my feels during games. I like it better that way. Makes everything less stressful. I enjoy this or I wouldn't even still be on here discussing it, but I enjoy it more because I realize no matter what happens it can't affect my personal life unless I allow it to.

So, in some ways, yeah it sucks. But I am not asking to be plugged back into the Matrix.

Not even talking about that as I moved beyond letting it affect my life a long time ago. I am talking about the loss of amateurism, everything is about money, lack of loyalty.
