Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

We didn’t lose because of that call. We got whipped at home by a better prepared team. They wanted it more and we just let them have it.
What’s true is that call gave them all they needed.

Not a statement on officiating.
A statement that this team is fragile and can and has fell apart from one play going sideways.

this whole sport has become nauseating to me. NFL lite.
It's allowed me to be less invested in the results of the games. Not telling anyone else how to feel. People interpret that sometimes as me being less of a fan or whatever because I'm not in the game threads posting my feels during games. I like it better that way. Makes everything less stressful. I enjoy this or I wouldn't even still be on here discussing it, but I enjoy it more because I realize no matter what happens it can't affect my personal life unless I allow it to.

So, in some ways, yeah it sucks. But I am not asking to be plugged back into the Matrix.

The Battle of Franklin.

The Battle of Franklin was the bloodiest 5 hours of the Civil War, where Confederate General John Bell Hood's army launched a failed frontal assault against entrenched Union forces in Franklin, Tennessee. The battle resulted in extremely high casualties, particularly for the Confederacy, with over 6,000 Confederate soldiers wounded or killed, including six generals. This catastrophic defeat severely weakened the Confederate Army of Tennessee, though the Union troops eventually withdrew to Nashville.

There is a window of opportunity with all this coaching carousel stuff to fire anyone we want and get anyone we want and that window is quickly closing as head coaching hires are made and staffs get assembled. If we’re going to fire an offensive or defensive staff member, I hope we already have the replacement found and signed and simply wait to fire whatever staffer until signing day has come and gone.

Looking at you Durkin/Baker

Looking at you [insert name of offensive coordinator here]
NFL season is far from over and looking there for a OC or DC is maybe the best option. Not that I believe one minute it will happen.
