The only problem I have with the Era Festival tournament is it waters down all the other holiday tournaments.. The Maui Classic and Battle for Atlantis always had good teams compete this season it's not so much...

Yes! I was thinking that last night. 😂 And be sure to include the social-promotions to top seeds for the undeserving in last year’s CFP. That took away our round 1 game against SMU in Neyland and sent us to Antarctica to pay the national champ instead. This year they fixed it.

It's a message board and I feel worth discussing. I see you do not feel that it is. That is your opinion. People might agree with me. Others might agree with you. That's the point of a message board. Do I think LSU is a better job than Tennessee? No. I am biased, however. Would a neutral? That's debatable and therefor why I broached the subject. If it were South Carolina, I would see your point. There are however many jobs that I would consider top tier in the SEC. In alphabetical order Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M. It would be stupid for an agent to ignore any of those calls. Auburn used to be up there too but need a Heupel to resurrect them. All those universities have tremendous fanbases/alumni, history, resources, and fertile recruiting territories.

We'll know if there is smoke Sunday. Regardless, our program is on good footing now. We owe that to our admin, AD, coaches, and the players that helped bring us back to relevance.

I don’t see brohm leaving lville.

I could see petrino going to usf or ucf. Or maybe a power 4 school. But if it were me, unless the power 4 is going to pay me much more and has the resources and natural recruiting grounds to compete, a job like usf/ucf is a home run job these days. Natural recruiting grounds, not expected to compete for championships, quality of opponents lends itself to being able to stack winning records, etc
